Inn On The Bayou, Lake Charles

I found what looked like rat crap on the floor,junk under the bed, every where was dirty. I is a nasty,nasty place. I will never stay here again.

We were in Lake Charles for a Wedding....We Almost didn't stay here due to the previous reviews....but didn't want to be the lone ranger....while everyone else stayed here. I was amazed and suprised from the time we pulled in the driveway...This is not a 5 star hotel but I have nothing bad to say...I was was very pleased with the service, room, view, etc....It is very close to the casino and have a resturant right on the property...although we did not eat there it seem to be a very popular place. Will definitely stay here again for a quick weekend trip to the casino. The property was recently updated.

I think everything about the hotel is average. I have used this hotel once a year for the past 5 years. Our entire fraternity goes for one weekend a year. Maybe it's not good enough for families, but it's a great price and location for a large group like us.

It looks nothing like the picture! It is a stone's throw from a very busy highway(I210). Would NOT honor our AAA, sink was sticky-like it was not cleaned, had to call the front desk how to operate the shower. The soap and shampoo were the cheapest I have ever seen!!! No chain on door and no hotel checkout info or fire escape info!!! Never again!!

The room was extremely dirty. We wouldn't even shower. The TV was on as though someone had been in the room. TX reception on some channels was the pits. Need I say more?

Won't ever go back. Worst bed I've ever tried to sleep in. Very painful if in one position too long. Was supposed to stay 2 nights and when we asked for a different room, we were told this bed was the best they had and the newest (on the 3rd floor). Also, dead bugs all over the corners of the walls. Felt like for the price they should at least have a decent bed! UGHHHHHHHHHHH I felt like they should have given a refund but never offered anything!
