6 reviews for Knights Inn Florida City, Florida City
HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! DONT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By Riley a, 03/24/09
I feel so stupid for not reading reviews before staying here. My first night my car got broken into, there was a screw driver in the ignition so the bums were trying to steal it. The windows in the room wouldnt close, sound on tv didnt work, ac wouldnt cool room down, When I made police report for the break in, the cop told me to get out of the area, that it wasnt safe! Please Please dont stay here its not safe at all! I have never in my life stayed in such a place im shocked that there still in business. If you do decide to stay here, Homested Glass is 10 miles away, they replace the broken glass that youll have in no time.

BED BUGS!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/21/08
I've never seen one before, but the Maid confirmed what I found in my bed was a Bed Bug. She said there were 5 rooms in the hotel that had them in the rooms, but they were cleaned and had new mattresses. My bed had 6 of them walking around in the sheets and my son's bed had one. The mattress looked brand new. She also said they were hard to get rid of. She told me to bring the bugs to the office. I put them in a cup and gave them to a woman behind the counter who went behind a back door and never came back out. I called Orbitz who I booked the room with. Orbitz called the office and I got a refund for the night's stay. I hope I don't bring these bugs back home. Very disgusting! The dead roach in the bathroom was normal for Fl., but not bed bugs. The Maid said the "europeans" bring them here, but "they're just like a tick and they are OK, they won't hurt you." (She must have slept in a Holiday Inn last night.)

You may be dissapointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/19/07
Just one of the worst places I have ever stayed at. There was stains on the wall, plexi glass windows with broken guard bars, and I got a feel it was a high crime area. Positives: Price was cheap for Florida city and the room came with a microwave/fridge.

Disaster
By Weldermick, 10/17/06
I've never stayed anywhere that had this much crime. My truck was broken into twice and owners did nothing to help. Cameras are useless!! I will never stay here again!!!!!

Adequate but in need of a facelift
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/22/05
The Good: Convenient location (Everglades, Florida Keys, Biscayne, Miami area). Low priced. The Bad: The quality of the linens, general appearance was average. Rust could be seen here and there. Summary: Adequate for a night's sleep and good value for under $50, but for its regular price ($80 is what the motel charged for walk-ins), I would look for a much better appearance.
