Comfort Inn Carrier Circle, Syracuse

The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Lets not forget about the breakfast, it was better than I imagined! I would stay again and recommend highly.

I liked the location of the hotel. The decor was nice & the room was clean. The cleaning staff was also very friendly . However it ENDS there. I called the hotel directly to book our reservations however the reservations were messed up from the very beginning. To make the long story short they gave us 5 different reservations for different dates, it was a mess. I called & it was suppose to be fixed. After arriving at the hotel the employee was closing out his drawer for the night & would not except cash so I gave my credit card to hold room & would pay cash to next employee on shift. This was a BIG mistake. In the end they ended up charging my card for the full time of my stay which should have been 2 nights. Plus they charged almost an extra $100.00. They could not explain the charges and I paid cash for my stay. The staff was rude, inconsiderate & they didn't know what they were doing. If they couldn't make reservations correctly & attempt to fix the problem & be courteous at the same time then they shouldn't be working there. We were given several different stories as to what the charges were for & lied to several different times from different staff members when questioning to speak with the manager. I really wanted to leave the hotel & look for another one but we were with other family members visiting in syracuse to attend the monster jam at the carrier dome. It was an exciting vacation for all of our children & we were trying not to let this hotel issue effect them. But through out our stay all of hotel staff at the front desk were rude, giving dirty looks & disrespectful including the manager himself. The actual hotel its self was nice but it can not make up for their behavior. Above all they did not release our money charged on our card until a week later. After I had contacted my bank, put a watch on my account & spoke with the other manager at the hotel. In my email to her I told her that I have seen people treat dogs better then they treated us & she should be ashamed of her staff. I will NEVER EVER stay at this hotel again. We all felt so uncomfortable there. Unfortunetly there were other guests having problems as well with the hotel reservations & staff during our visit. It's a shame the staff give this hotel a BAD NAME! There are plenty of hotels in the syracuse area & I will go to a different hotel if I am ever in the area again. Other hotels couldn't be any worse then the comfort inn carrier circle. I have stayed at many choice hotels over the years for family vacation & business travel & have not had any problems to this extent. I could have over looked the reservation & money issue as being a simple mistake but the way the staff handled the situation, lied, & acted with such disrespect is what made this a TERRIBLE stay. This was by far the WORST hotel stay EVER!!!!!!!!!!! I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

My sister went on a trip with her school and stayed there and...OMG. She said that when she walked into the room the beds were not made and there was blood and puke stains. GROSS. There was garbage every where and half eaten food. The toilets didn't work. The bathtub almost over flowed becasue the drain didn't work -- She had to go use another person's room. And when she went to go write a comment about the room -- there was coffee stains on the paper! Who keeps a hotel like this? The obviously don't have maids. This place is horrible, disgusting, and gross! Don't every stay there!!! :-D

My daughter & a group of kids from the school stayed there and when the girls walked into their room the beds weren't made and all the garbage, including half eaten food, from the previous residents was all over the room. The water wouldn't drain out of the bathtub after showers, the sheets and carpet were stained with blood and who knows what else. Completely disgusting, don't know how you could even run a hotel like that. Gross!

Staff was nice, beds were firm, water was hot - that's about it. Housekeeping never made up the room. Had to get my own towels - one of which was so old it shed white stuff all over me. Toilet paper is hidden under the vanity - had to crawl on hands and knees to find it. Heater had no thermostat - either on all the time (too hot) or off (too cold) Sheets too small for the bed - pulled off corners Phone didn't work Coffee was terrible Vending machines not stocked - out of bottled water for two days

Hotel is a party destination for locals. I stayed there on Christmas night (expecting a quiet evening to get some sleep), but I was wrong! Several locals had a room next to me and after hours of drinking (and God knows what else) the fights started, the police were called and I ended up with no sleep. I later learned this is not out of the ordinary for this hotel. To add insult to injury, the place isn't clean.

This place smelled like cigarettes from the moment I walked in! I felt dirty in the room and didn't take my socks off to walk around! Two days later when I arrived home, I found out that I caught head lice! This was a horrible experience!

the comfort inn was a great place. clean, close, and curtious. The room was clean, and the front desk was very quick and helpful.

I recently stayed at this hotel as a part of the State Competition for Skills USA. I stayed on the fourth floor and the rooms were gorgeous. The jet tubs were amazing. One of the people who worked at the hotel, Karen, was the most helpful of all, if it wasnt for her, i dont know how my advisor, my friend and i would have gotten through the week.

This hotel was by far the worst hotel i have ever stayed in in my entire life! There was a bug in te bath room and the room service food had hair in it. I was extremly disturbed and dissapointed. Anyone that has ever stayed here deserves a reward for staying in this dump some people call a hotel. Enjoy you stay! If you ever come back! I would reccomed the Ramada Inn, the complete opposite of the dump! I liked Nothing.
