Disreputable Business Practices
I made a reservation at this hotel for 02/16/2007 with the front desk clerk Kapila. I was not given a confirmation number. I cancelled the reservation on 02/14/08 with Peter. I was not given a cancellation number. On 02/20/2008 I was still charged for the room. 02/20/2008 spoke with Kapila, who stated she needed to speak with the manager(who was in Ohio) about the issue and that someone would get back me. I called and spoke with Kapila on 02/23/2008 who said she spoke with the manager and that as soon as she returned I would get a reversal of the charges. On 02/26/08 I spoke with Kapila, who said the manager had not returned yet. On 02/29/08 I spoke with Jen, who said the manager Danny George would not be in until 03/03/08. On 03/04/08 I spoke with Kapila who stated that the manager told her unless I had a cancellation number she would not refund my money. I asked to sopeak with Peter. I was informed that Peter no longer works there, so there is no way to verify that he did not give me a confirmation number. At each call, I requested the manager to call me. To date I have not heard from her, nor have I gotten my refund.
Stay clear of this dump!!!!!
