Bertrand's Motel, Clayton

Good Location right in the middle of town. Rooms are very outdated and wreak of smoke. Bar across the parking lot was loud. Again they should stop the smoking.

The location of the hotel was one of the only redeeming qualities of this outdated hotel. The rooms were kept clean but who are we kidding? This hotel needs a major over hall. The carpet needs replacing or a good steam cleaning would help. The air conditioner was so loud and worked some of the time. The T.V. was right out of the Brady Bunch with poor sound and poor picture quality. The remote to the t.v. did not even work.The walls and construction of this building were very poor. The last night I stayed there The college kids above ran past 12.30am and it sounded as if they were coming through the ceiling When it rained I could here pinging sounds through the the walls.To anyone considering staying here think again and look elsewhere.

Bathroom needed work and the bar next door was very noisy into the wee hours.

We've stayed at Bertrand's many times when we go up on the off-season. It's very clean and they are so nice and extremely accomodating.

I thought the place was the shizzel. That Bill and Barb are just great people. They even have a nephew that is pretty cool too. He is the main reason Bertrands stays a float. That Bill guy is really tall. Best wishes on your new castle.

Over the last few years we have stayed at Bertrand's motel, My daughter and grands sob have made the trip from Toronto and look foreward doing it later in the year. The staff always helped us out when we needed help. Thanx The Redfearns
