Carriage House Inn, Strasburg

We have stayed at several locations througout Lancaster County and have to say that this was the worse. No drapes at windows just wooden blinds that allowed the outside lights to shine through all night, noisy a/c that did not work correctly, trust me the pics on their web sight is very incorrect, the whole place looked liked it could use a coat of paint, I would not recommend for any type of travlers.Their web sight said they were going through a remodel but it showed no signs of such.

We just stayed for two nights this week. It is only 5 minutes to Route 30, less than that to Sight and Sound, or the Railway Museum, and Route 30 is so busy I am sure the rooms in the many hotels on that strip are not near as quiet as they were here. They had a good complementary continental breakfast, and a computer for guest use in that room. I think it was a blessing that they didn't have wireless in the rooms as we actually had a break from our computers. They were helpful, providing extra pillows etc. quickly when asked. We had 4 adults in our room and paid less than 90 per night, for a room that was freshly painted, clean and comfortable.

The Carriage House is a clean and nice place to stay while in Starsburg. It is just down the street to the Strasburg Railroad and the Pennsylvania Railroad Museum, The Iron Horse Restaurant is right across the street. You can sit at Neil Youngs table! I'm going back.

it was over priced some nights we were the only guests there.its a little out of the way of the main drag.never again will we stay there.
