Motel of Frystown, Myerstown

Great place when American owned by the Smiths back 20 years ago. 7 years ago an acceptable place for a late nite's sleep for 30 bucks so long as you didn't get a room too close to the smell of currey and BO coming from the manager's office. Over time the odor moved down the line of rooms. Now called "Travel Inn". Good enough for $50, no cups, slept on the bedspread just in case, kept my shoes on to walk on the carpet, frige and microwave but I would never have the nerve to actually look inside of them. I would not expect a coffee maker and would not lay a hand on it if it were in the room. Currey and BO now settled into the walls and going rancid to a stale, somewhat moldy vomitus undertone- probably why the window was left open when I arrived. Spend as little time as necessary in the room. Watch what you eat before and during the stay- could come back up on you. Oh- and only a few sheets of toilet paper left on the roll and no back-up so check what the previous occupant may have used the linens for.

The biggest dump I have ever seen. Tired from driving after 10 hours, and stopped at 2am. Next morning woke up in shock at the site. Trash lined up all along the driveway that look like it had been there for months. Later that day I had confirmed bed-bug bites ! Please, never, ever stop at this garbage pit. Follow just a little bit further down the road to much better lodging.
