Kenmar Motel, Newburg

Looks like your typical weathered 50'-60's motel on the outside. Super-clean rooms, modern conveniences. Nice, firm queen beds, flat screen TV, modern AC/Heater unit in wall, updated wall coverings and carpets. Bathroom is all original retro tile & fixtures in immaculate condition with modernized shower enclosure for tub. Nice and neat office with breakfast nook. Complimentary breakfast provided is nice touch (cereal, fruit, breads, danish, juice & coffee, etc.). The Mrs. at the desk offered to make me a waffle! Nice folks run it. Have stayed here twice, will stay again. 2 thumbs up!

We would recommend this motel to anyone who is looking for a clean, friendly and reasonably priced place to stay. It was conveniently located right off the Blue Mtn. exit of the PA turnpike and a short drive to our destination of Shippensburg University. An added bonus were the homemade blueberry waffles and fresh brewed coffee for our "continental breakfast". See you next year! Carol and Howard

You can not beat the cleanliness, and value of this motel. The owners are friendly and hands on. Great location right at the Blue Mountain Turnpike Exit. I have stayed there several times as I have a cabin up on the mountain in the Tuscarora State Forest. Great to get an early start up the mountain by staying here. I will be back in the future!

It was a great experience staying here, we only had to stay one night because of the motocross race being close by, we got a 10% discount because of the race, the room was nice and very clean... the people were GREAT and extremely friendly, and we got homemade blueberry waffles in the morning.. If we race there again we would definitely stay here again =] loved it!

The motel is clean and the owners are very friendly. The experience of staying at the motel was a "throw back" to my childhood of family vacations and staying at roadside motels before the big chains evolved.
