Snowdon Motel, Londonderry

The place was clean, well run by a cordial host. Nothing fancy but that's not what I look for. A good value for the money.

My wife and I took a chance on this motel for the first time in early August and we really enjoyed the quiet setting in one of our favorite areas of Vermont. In particular, the hospitality shown us by Faheem, the friendliest motel operator that we have ever met, was second to none. That man would jump hurdles to assure his guests have a pleasant stay and he proved to be quite the down to earth conversationalist to boot. We reserved a first floor king bed room in advance, which was spotless when we arrived. As stated, the furnishings are not fancy but definitely portrayed a country flavor in the room that we stayed in. This room also had an appealing view of the large back lawn and surrounding woods. The refrigerator and microwave oven (when requested) made the stay an extraordinary value. While the motel does not have a restaurant there is a quaint little breakfast nook to the side of the main office that houses three small tables, each with two chairs. The free coffee and continental breakfast provided by the motel was more than adequate to start the day with a smile. The only negative aspect of our stay had to do with the side lawn, which boasts a picnic table, barbecue grille, and lots of scattered white plastic chairs. Since I love relaxing under the trees, I was disappointed that the picnic table and various chairs needed a thorough cleaning and the grille desperately needed to be discarded and replaced. All said and done, we would definitely visit again and we would love to see Faheem's family run business grow and prosper. All in all, my wife and I had a pleasant stay and I would

we had a very happy stay,good and clean room with 1 queen & 2 twin beds, 4 of us had very comfortable stay, like the free breakfast, they cleaned the room every day and we will get the fresh towels every day! No phone in the room but we were allowed to make the out of state call from the loby for free and free internet connection....

Motel room was tiny, dirty and cold. It was basically a closet with a small bed. The bed was filthy with burn holes. I didn't even want to use the blanket but the room was about 50 degrees! There was no thermostat control in the room and the owner turns the heat off completely during the day. We had to call him to turn it on. No alarm clock, desk, heat control or phone in the room! You had to side-step into the shower it was so small. Hot water runs out during peak times. Bathroom ceiling dripped water. Parking was terrible. The only good things were the price, free breakfast and the proximity to local ski mountains. The owner was also very friendly.

Inn keepers very friendly, Room was very clean, had a great stay..location was convenient right on the access road, Excellent place for the buck!!!!Room were cleaned every day with fresh towels, Excellent service.
