disgusted with disgusted
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/7/10
Dear disgusted. Just read your post thanks to a couple of people who recently brought it to my attention. We remember you...the one who took a shower, and then wanted a free room. The one, who because of you, we immediately had the town health department come up, in YOUR PRESENCE, who could not find anything in EVERY room, and actually said the place was not only clean, but very nice...much because we spent a lot of money, after having just bought it that spring, on new interior decorating and new bedding. We were happy to get rid of you. Who knows, maybe you were a friend of the previous owner who, after being warned of trespassing twice, we finally had to have the police get involved...hmm, just a couple weeks before your post. My extended family of 13 stayed here for 2 weeks, with a newborn, and LOVED IT! Come see me, so I can sue you for all of the damages you have caused...instead of hiding behind your bitter, pathetic screen name. You're a loser!

The enthusiasm of our host Cathy was infectious and refreshing. Wonderful place to base our hiking trips through the mts. We go every year for the last 5 years, last week in Aug and book when we leave to get our special romantic room. Mary and Mark Madison Cambridge Ma

buggy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/18/08
Let me begin by saying the location of this place is great for everything you want to do in the area. However the room we got had some major issues. Now I am a very seasoned traveler and camper and I did have a few crucial issues with this Inn. We were there in Feb and it was very cold. When I checked in I noticed tons of belly up flies and lady bugs on the window sills. I thought to myself "boy when this space heater kicks in I hope they don't come out of hibernation". Certainly this was why they had two fly swatters hanging from the door. My girlfriend and I went out for a nice country dinner got a nice bottle and headed back to the inn to play some cards when what did I see but a lady bug bouncing off the ceiling. Well it was kind of cute and funny because we usually don't see them in February. We sat down to play cards and then we saw 2 more. I proceeded to begin swatting them. They were followed shortly bu their fly friends!! I must have swatted 30 lady bugs and 20 flys! It was silly. Also the bed was extremely uncomfortable and VERY noisy. Every time you moved it would creek and wake you up. We also blew a fuse, hated the shower. Other than that we enjoyed it.

Stayed at better
By Shania, 7/1/07
I agree with much of what NOT SO HOT had to say. We stayed at the Northern Zermatt last summer for 3 days before we left and got a cottage at Johnson's Motel, where we happily stayed the remaining 10 days of our vacation. There were 5 of us, my husband and two young children, and my teenaged nephew. Going from the Zermatt Inn to Johnson's was like night and day. At the Zermatt Inn, we too were disappointed with what they called a cottage. Ours had a run-down deck in the back which looked out upon their small playground and nothing else. At Johnson's we had an enclosed front porch with a beautiful view of the White Mountains. The Northern Zermatt had nothing on the property for the kids to do except a small pool and a small playground. Johnson's had those and more. Our first evening there, we took a walk along their nature hike, and at the pond we saw two moose, our first moose sighting! The kids were so excited! We could also walk right across the street to a fabulous restaurant for dinner. The price at Johnson's was actually just about the same as at the Zermatt Inn, but it was worth so much more.

The Norther Zermatt Inn keepers are the greatest. We have stayed here twice and each time we had a great time. There is plenty to do there with out even leaving the Inn. I would recommened this Inn to anyone. You will not be disappointed

Northern Zermatt
By j, 6/24/04
My family and I vacation at the Northern Zermatt every year now. We've been going for 2 years and this will be our 3rd!! The rooms are affordable and the service is great. The hotel is close to all attractions in the area so you don't have to travel too far. Overall, I would highly recommend anyone to stay here!
