Newport Motel, Newport

If you are looking for a comfortable place to crash after skiing all day, then this is the place for the price. We like to ski in Vermont as well, but get frustrated with the high hotel rates and New Yorkers! After a day of skiing at Sunapee, for 65.00 it is a fine little place to crash. The little town of Newport has a very good Irish pub about 5 min. from the motel.....and in the morning there is fresh coffee and muffins as well as bagels, etc.......the office opens at 7, which is perfect, so we can grab something as we head back to the mountain[never get those fancy breakfasts at the B&B's anyways, since we like to get the first chair].........So, if you just want a comfortable place to crash before the next ski, day, without the frills, then this little motel[a bit outdated], is a deal.
