You can do better...

The inn itself is beautiful, well situated, and very clean. We were told breakfast was between 8 and 9 am, however, and were left sitting in the dining room until 8:30 when the assistant innkeeper told us we should have known that is when breakfast was served. The next night, however, we were scolded for arriving 10 minutes early for dinner.
Dinner itself was unappealing. Breakfast, however, was excellent, except for the 2 small fruit flies floating in my poached pears.
All in all, we liked the inn itself, but service we found to be somewhat cold and uninviting. There are other inns around we wished we might have experienced instead, and wont be returning to the Sugar Hill Inn.
