the beds were horrible. infact they sagged 5 inches in the middle. small rooms very out dated and well worn. the new resturant took an hour t get pancakes. the office is in his living room so dont touch any thing or he gets cranky. after 11 hours to get there the kids were looking at all his rocks and being 8 year olds and he told them to stay by the counter this is his house. the rules at the pool are, no running, food,drink,shoes,watersox, towls were at the front desk and then the search for the owner was on. no splashing , no getting out the side of the pool, OH yea its a salt water pool and hot tub , you cant see the bottom its so cloudy, yuck, no cannon balls no diving, then he came and took our plastic water bottles for the kids and put them outside. so if your there for mining, the owner owns the property next door for the maine mineral adventures to rent. this is another notable item. all the good minerals were dug for them dont pay to go to the quarry. so we asked for a refund on our 3rd night. after a heated discussion he refuesed, but said his wife may based on business. they were empty. so we got our credit for the 3rd night but with a heated warning, "IF YOU WRIGHT A BAD REVIEW OF MY MOTEL I WILL CHARGE YOUR CARD FOR 2 DAYS AND SUE YOU FOR SLANDER AND MALISOUS COMMENTS." SO HERES YOUR REVIEW. nothing is false this all happened and is all true. @#%%^&E. charging a card with out approvial is fraud. and the comment is blackmail

The stay was nice and the folks friendly. Please note when it says ice, refrigerator, or microwave for amenities it means the hotel has a refrigerator with 6 ice cube trays so bring your own. The microwave is also back by the refrigerator in the hall, not in the rooms. Is close to everything and fair priced, it would be good to update the amenities to reflect a clearer picture.
