Also "A Beautiful Place by the Sea"

He love Ogunquit at any time of the year, but last March, my husband & I decided to spend one night in Ogunquit as a late-winter treat.
It was cold & windy, with snow on the rocks by the ocean, and we weren't sure what would be open to accommodate us, so we stopped at the Anchorage. We've admired their uncredibly beautiful gardens that you pass along the Marginal Way path to Perkins Cove on our late-summer stays, so we stopped in and were able to get a room on the far side overlooking the ocean. It was a brand-new wing, and we found it spacious, quiet & very comfortable.
The coffee shop on the grounds is a gem - lots of light, views of the sea, and the service there is excellent.
Top notch all the way for us! We'll be staying there next weekend!
