Turnpike Motel, Kennebunk

Reserved a room at this motel and had confirmation # with price, etc. When we arrived, the clerk would not honor the price. She also would not give us the AAA discount and was extremely rude. When I protested and told her I felt I was being taken advantage o,f she said, "If you don't like it you can go stay elsewhere."...knowing full well that on a holiday weekend it would be next to impossible to find another place. There was suppose to be WiFi. There wasn't or it didn't work so she gave us a "dial-up" cord. Couldn't find the motel after dark! Why, because they had turned off all the outside lights instead of just turning on the "no vacancy" light. In all fairness, the room was extremely clean! However, it was not worth the hassle.

I found the Turnpike Motel in Kennebunk Maine on the Internet and decided to give it a try. I've previously stayed at other places in the area but wanted try a new place. Staying at the Turnpike Motel was the best decision I made. The motel exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect for my vacation (right off the Maine Turnpike) and close to everything. My room was very nice, clean, quiet and cozy. Overall the place was warm, the staff was friendly. The motel was affordable (saved us a lot money). We'll definitely stay at Turnpike Motel again when vacationing in Maine.

We had a great experience at the Turnpike Motel. We booked our room a month in advance and our room was waiting and ready for us upon arrival. Sally the front desk clerk was very very nice. We have stayed at many hotels in Kennebunk and Turnpike Motel is by far is the best choice (plus we love how it's conveniently located). The staff was very friendly and helpful with extra requests (pillows, towels etc.). We vacation 3 times a year in Maine and will definitely stay at the Turnpike Motel when we return this summer.

I will only stay at The Turnpike Motel when visiting Kennebunk /Kennebunkport Maine! Everything was wonderful when I stayed at the Turnpike Motel. The location is convenient right off 95. It's family owned, the staff was friendly, our room was very nice and clean. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. It's easy to get to everything (restaurants, shopping, beaches etc.) when we stay there, so we really love the location. I highly recommend the Turnpike Motel in Kennebunk Maine.
