My wife and I visted Sydney for 2 weeks at the Gemini Hotel in Feb/Mar 2007. We had organised a very good rate for a double room, the hotel seemed to be in the middle of refurbishment at the time, but we were never disturbed throughout. The room was pleasant and clean. For breakfast there was a good choice of food and was good value, however it wasn't open for lunch or evening meals, the hotel had arranged with a local Labor Club to cater for guests meals with a complimentary drink added in. The room had a good view of the city skyline, racecourse and a slight ocean view (better than I had expected). It was also a good base for traveling via bus, to the city, airport and Coogee Beach all were easly accessable. The only down side I found was no bar facilities and Swimming Pool, otherwise excellent value for money.
