Bayview Park Hotel, Manila

Stayed there March of 2007 Can't complain, had a really nice room. Very clean and very good service. They say its a first class hotel.. I'm first to say it's not. I stayed at high ends hotels and this hotel is by far NOT on their league. For the price, location and service. I would say it's better than most even compared here in the U.S. Close to everything, Starbucks is on Location, close to Mall of Asia, Robinsons, US Embassy, Casino, lots of good restaurants around. Note to everyone.... If you treat other people right, they will treat you right as well.

I stayed only for 1 night just because I have a business at the US Embassy. I am from California. Its just accross the street, so its very convenient. I like that! Here is my bad experience..That area is dark, no walking distance restaurant, and whne we checked out, it took about 30 min because they have to send an attendant to check the room? WTF!!???That is so Stupid! Rooms are old, smelly, thin walls, bathroom missing sink covers on all. Here is knocker: Small roach roaming around the head board, who knows how much more were there! My Tip for you folks, Go somewhere else if you do not have any business at the US Embassy.

I spent two different trips at the BayView Park in August, and enjoyed them both. I found the service both efficient & courteous, and the rooms were clean and bug-free (past reviews described roaches). The hotel does charge for many things that others do not...for example, extra keys, or early check-in. On the other hand, they held my luggage for three days, while I traveled to Jakarta (no charge), and were very accommodating in many other areas. The hotel vehicle is no bargain, I would stay with metered taxi's for trips within the city. All in all, I would strongly recommend the hotel as a nice place to stay, handy to the US Embassy, and with much Filipino charm.

This hotel has a Starbucks in it. Free buffet breakfast was okay, not much choices. The room was comfortable but the bed was a bit too soft. But it is in a good location walking distance to Rizal (Luneta) Park and the Bay Walk area -restaurants. We were able to catch a local performance with youngsters at the pavillion at Rizal. They need to provide a reputable taxi service that doesn't gouge patrons and a working pool.

I stayed there with my wife and it was a very nice place to stay. Even though they were doing some renovations to the hotel it was a very nice hotel very good for the price that I got it at 55 USD a night was very good and having a very good breakfast in the morning.

i will recommend this to others, we like our room 718 its clean, comfortable. the buffet breakfast is good but the food can be a little more hotter, the staff service is great and their appearance is commendable plenty of staff not only good looking but all very polite, will be back again.

I stayed at Bayview Park Hotel for close to one month during my stint with the annually celebrated Wow Philippines. Its location is convenient considering it closely located at Intramuros where the festivities take place. It is easy to flag down public trasport due to its commercial location, however the glitch that i experience during my stay was that the housekeeping department does not change my sheets or refill my toiletries unless I ask them to. I hope the management looks into that.

Before we drove to this hotel we were told that a room was reserved with WI-FI. When we arrived, there was none. I had to pay extra for WI-FI to use in the lobby. The staff this RUDE and do not care about your well being. When I asked for a manager, the lady smiled and told me there was not one at this time. I later found out that she was the supervisor.

For the price. a Great value. It is not a 5 start but for a 3 star (which means average). It is fine.

I have spent alot of time in hotels throughout the United States, trust me, this place was a dump!!! The hotels here in the United States are better and alot cheaper!! Cockroaches in the room. When staff came to clean they didnt even go into the bathroom. The place was a mess when we returned! Staff was very rude at the desk. Construction workers working on the building would stare at my wife and I each time we would walk by.The place badly needs renovating!!! I strongly recomend the diamond, now thats a 5 star!!! Thats where I stayed last time... And thats where I will be staying next time
