35 reviews for Bayview Park Hotel, Manila
value for money with nice harbour view
By tim, 09/24/09
I made the reservation through Asiatravel and the price is attractive. The room was comfortable and big but needs some renovation. Harbour view from the room is excellent and location is just very convenient to malls, historical background. Front desk and customer service personal are very polite and helpful. All staff service is great and always have smile on their face. Allowed early check-in and late check-out without subcharge. The thing I don't like are no free internet and breakfast needs some improvment. I would like to recommend this Hotel to others.

Will never go back
By NOEL, 07/05/09
Front desk and customer service personal very rude, will never go near that place ever again,Confirmed date with front desk and was charged for another date. When I went to check in I was told that I missed my arrival date and they charged me and I would have to pay again. They told me they have no record on the confirmed date.I was afraid of getting ripped off by a mugger but not from a hotel.

Disappointed
By margarita, 05/31/09
Aside from, and despite, its location on Roxas Blvd, we found Bayview Park disapointing in its accomodations and ammenities. The front door and front desk staff were rude and ignored non-white guests while stumbling all over each other to serve any white person that happened by - guest or non-guest. Staff guaged its level of service depending on a guests' appearance. Our room had leaking showers and toilets that did not always flush. Our room smelled musty and the curtains were dirty and dusty and seemed not to have been washed for some time. We will not return to this hotel again.

Well ok.. but i wouldnt go back.
By maicoman, 03/15/09
From first impressions I thought I was going to get a real flash room.. I was soon disapointed.. Lucky my lady friend put the room in her name as I would have had to pay 6000 pesos a night.. As it was I paid 3850 a night on local resident charges. It just seemed over priced all over for what u got.. The gym is very basic to say the least.. The pool was ok, but its pretty small and shallow. I would have walked in and out of the place at least 10 times over 3 days and I dont think I ever saw the doorman smile once..... when it was time to leave.... It took 40 mins to check out.... Like they had one girl working the front desk.. people were waiting for ages to be attended to.. and they were not happy at waiting so long.. The place should get its act together as my experience there was not really fantastic at all.. thank god I didnt pay 6000 a night for the place.. I could holiday on the Gold Coast for cheaper and better... no worries at all..Most hotels in Manila are overpriced . my rating for overall satisfaction of Bayview Hotel Manila.............. 5 out 10

Great Hotel...under-rated
By Barry, 08/25/08
I spent two different trips at the BayView Park in August, and enjoyed them both. I found the service both efficient & courteous, and the rooms were clean and bug-free (past reviews described roaches). The hotel does charge for many things that others do not...for example, extra keys, or early check-in. On the other hand, they held my luggage for three days, while I traveled to Jakarta (no charge), and were very accommodating in many other areas. The hotel vehicle is no bargain, I would stay with metered taxi's for trips within the city. All in all, I would strongly recommend the hotel as a nice place to stay, handy to the US Embassy, and with much Filipino charm.

Forget it!
By GaryC, 07/23/08
I stayed only for 1 night just because I have a business at the US Embassy. I am from California. Its just accross the street, so its very convenient. I like that! Here is my bad experience..That area is dark, no walking distance restaurant, and whne we checked out, it took about 30 min because they have to send an attendant to check the room? WTF!!???That is so Stupid! Rooms are old, smelly, thin walls, bathroom missing sink covers on all. Here is knocker: Small roach roaming around the head board, who knows how much more were there! My Tip for you folks, Go somewhere else if you do not have any business at the US Embassy.

BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By Ed, 07/18/08
I have spent alot of time in hotels throughout the United States, trust me, this place was a dump!!! The hotels here in the United States are better and alot cheaper!! Cockroaches in the room. When staff came to clean they didnt even go into the bathroom. The place was a mess when we returned! Staff was very rude at the desk. Construction workers working on the building would stare at my wife and I each time we would walk by.The place badly needs renovating!!! I strongly recomend the diamond, now thats a 5 star!!! Thats where I stayed last time... And thats where I will be staying next time

Why would I ever go back to Bayview
By Paul, 06/26/08
• Overnight Accommodation for Two (2) in Superior Room • Complimentary Buffet Breakfast • Complimentary Airport Pick-up • Complimentary Welcome Drink • Complimentary Two (2) bottled of Mineral Water per day • Complimentary Daily Newspaper • Complimentary fax received maximum of 20 pages • VIP check-in and check-out • Extended check-out privilege (upon request depends on availability) • Complete Bathroom Amenities None of the Amenities were offered the Complimentary Airport pick up cost over 700 P No buffet breakfast No drink, no mineral water, and the shower was lacking a divider or shower curtain to keep water out of the CR. The desk clerk told me that the internet link( for Bayview) did not belong to the hotel, so therefore the amenity list did not apply. very rude and would not even listen. the five star rating should be reduced to about three along with the price. We left a hair straightner in the CR and when we returned to Manila I was informed that is was not found. I was also told by the desk clerk that local calls to land lines would be no charge, they charged me everytime I picked up the phone. There was a 1000p deposit and when my change for the room came to 500p I was told that they would just keep it for the deposit also(1500). I will never stay at the Bayview again. The free buffet breakfast cost 4 to 5 hundred p per person.

Great Hotel at a Good Price
By GHOST, 12/24/07
I got this Hotel thru Orbitz. Everthing was great. There driver was waiting to pick me up at the airport. The room I was in was very clean. The bedding was nice and clean. The room looked just like the one they show on the internet. All the staff was so nice and polite. The all you can eat Buffett Breakfast was great. Mine came with the room. If you want the negatives. There drives are a little expensive but they will get you there alive. You might not with a Taxi. The hair dryer and radio in the room didn't work. The pool is a little small. I spent 10 days there in October for under $700 US. If I visit Manila again I will be sure to stay there. Ghost
