Alliance Safari Beach Hotel, Mombasa

Having visited this country and this hotel group for many years i read with intrest and some shock the recent reports from the South Coast and in particular The Safari Beach Hotel.I find this most suprising as my family and i used to spend our January and Feburary there .We have been unable to return for a few seasons for a number of reasons.I will however return in January 2010 for 3 or 4 weeks as usual.I find these latest reports of Theft dirty rooms boring food unhelpful staff totally unknown to me during our many visits and i mean many!It was a breath of fresh air to step of the aircraft and enjoy the trip to the South Coast of Diani to see our Friends both hotel Management and Staff.It was a pleasure to spend our time there.What has gone wrong?I will visit in January and see for myself i hope my little part of heaven has not changed we will see.

The hotel is old and dirty. The taps don't work, the mosquito nets have holes in them and the food is dreadful. Avoid this place like the plague.

we are french and we were sent to the hotel safari beach hotel in diani, this hotel is very dirty, everything is old and dirty : the rooms, the bathrooms, the toilet, the chairs in the restaurant and the eating was awful too, we ate every day the same, it is an all inclusive hotel but your have to sign a bill every time you take something; PLEASE AVOID THIS HOTEL
