Dhahran International Hotel, Az Zahran

It's a hotel from bygone years. Once stately, now past its prime. Good location, close to Dammam, a very nearby mall and ARAMCO. Food is very good. Internet was a problem for this business user. Wireless and very low bandwidth. Thier business center was a relief, if expensive to use. Price is very competitive.

Having stayed at the holel for a number of months I found the service to bo good with one exception the Gym was a danger especially the running machines, there were 4 machines in the gym 2 of which were broken, 1 had a mind of it's own and the last one you were liable to get killed on

I have been staying at the Dhahran International Hotel on weekends for a year and now they are making some renovation changes. The rooms have all new furniture and the rooms look nice, but the type of furniture now in the rooms is not comfortable. Before the chairs weresoft and not they are hard and not comfortable to set in. The bed is the biggest problem. The beds now are like trying to sleep on concrete. I have never seen such hard bed in a hotel where you want to relax and get a good nights sleep. I stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms this past weekend and could not sleep because of the hard bed. I like the hotel because of the location, but because of the beds I will probably look for another hotel to stay in. It's a shame.

The Dhahran International Hotel has always served me and my family well as a travel "oasis". When it opened, we frequented its restaurant. When we flew out of the Dhahran airport, we always found the lobby lounge hospitable. During the Gulf war, the hotel hosted the press corps. Remember the blue domes? I was in the hotel when Kuwait was liberated. Nostalgia aside, I stayed at the Dhahran International for business in January, 2007, and was well pleased with the accomodation. The staff was frendly, helpful and attentive. The rooms were clean and adequate. Wireless internet was available in the lobby. The breakfast buffet provided a good start to the morning. Parking was adequate with easy access to Saudi Aramco and Al-Khobar business centers. The Dhahran International Hotel is a "good value for money" and will receive my consideration for subsequent visits to the area.

Found the Staff to be Very friendly. Most speak fairly good english. Restaurants very good as well as the room service. Alarm clocks in the rooms would be nice. the only thing negitive i have to say is when checking out or if you require the service of the cashier... good luck! Very slow and if there is more than one person in front of you, be ready for a long wait.

All the rooms are first rate and the service is excellent. Hotel staff call you by name and treat you like the King's nephew. Close to Saudi Aramco for meetings and low taxi fare to the front gate of Aramco. Everyone knows where you are staying when you stay at Dhahran International Hotel. Best breakfast in Saudi Arabia truly 5 star.

i like most is food, food is no.1.. excellent.. sum idea,change the interior design... specially at lobby.. and rooms.. dislike.. nothing..service is good..i have no comment at all.. speciially at service

Located within 5 km from the headquarters of Saudi Aramco, Dhahran International is a convenient place for the business visitors to Saudi Aramco. The hotel also has a restaurant and several banquet and other rooms suitable for seminars, workshops, etc. The food is generally good and the catering staff nice and courteous. However, the upper management lack similar courtesy. People like us who are used to 'Western' services may get disappointed when dealing with the management and once you have overpaid, it is very hard to get reimbursed. So, if you have a dispute over payment of room and food services, do not pay first as the system will definitely prevent you from getting reimbursed.
