Landmark Amman Hotel and Conference Center, Amman

As there is never a second chance for a first impression, the pleasant style of this hotel is something to remember. My visits total 6-7 times over two years and I was checked into a Royal Club room. My stay is covered by a special corporate rate, but this has nothing to do with this hotel becoming a second home in Amman. I like best the excellent room layout, the impeccable cleanliness and the quiet ambience I specifically seek. I did have one or two annoyances, but these were promptly addressed with style. There are two things I specifically dislike. The breakfast room and the lounge bar. The first serves an excellent treat, but the waiters and their style are no match to the other aspects of the establishment. Slow waiters and dirty tablecloths do the hotel an injustice. The Wings bar is excellent in variety and service, but the lighting and decoration have to be reconsidered. I do not not know what it looks like now after the unfortunate terrorist attack. The poolside barbecue should either be reviewed or omitted altogether. I must mention that I have stayed in other hotels in Amman.
