Casablanca revisited

This hotel has character & ambiance. It is an oasis of peace and civility in a bustling city. I expected Bogy and Bacall to walk through the door any second (the guest book reads like a whos who of politics, celebrity and social life, but it is not stuffy or glitsy at all). Just comfortable & inviting. It is small, intimate, and the mature, overgrown landscaping adds to the womb-like feeling. If you want modernity and glitz, this is not it. If you want understated presence and a feel like you belong in Jerusalem, this is your place.
