Definitely was a pleasant place to stay! My room view was great and so was the breakfast! If any of u wanna save money on it tho I'd suggest using SweetHotelDeals. Net They have some really good prices on there!!

SERVICE WAS QUICK AND PROFESSIONAL. GOT US THE BEST GUIDES AND RESTAURANTS. ROOMS WERE VERY UNIQUE AND COMFORTABLE. FIFTEEN MINUTE WALK OR LESS TO EVERYWHERE YOU WOULD WANT TO WALK.

While this hotel is in a nice location, we paid over $300 for a nights stay. We had 3 couples to book, all at the same time. 2 of the couples got a room with a window, 1 got a balcony with a great view....yet we all paid the same price. We stayed in #516. It smelled musty and was not really clean. The covers & pillows had a clammy/damp feel to them, and the floor needed to be cleaned. The room has a good deal of space, but does not give you the warm feeling like the pictures imply. There are 2 places in the hotel to get food, if you are there at the right hours. We did not order room service, as it was way too expensive ($16+ Euros for eggs & toast). I was unhappy with the overall experience with the hotel. I would not recommend it. Also....if you do go, remember to take your washcloths...as you will only get towels & a robe. You will get the usual shampoo, soap, lotion, & shower cap in your bath. Our shampoo had been used halfway and someone added water to make it look like it was full. I will end on a positive note....the food and the service in the little place down stairs was good.

This place was boring but the rooms were nice please go there. it has a beautiful view. I love it there even though it was boring. my friend says hi.

The Hotel Palace in Barcelona must have been a world class hotel some time ago, there is evidence of that throughout the building. The rooms are spacious and kept clean. The hotel rooms and service is very good, unfortunately in my opinion, they have not invested much in the building in a long time, which is a shame for the architecture is exceptional. This is a great hotel, but not a five star hotel, it is more like a three and a half to four star at best. It is a bit on the expensive side, but...everything is expensive in Barcelona. Overall, it was a good experience.

We went to this hotel for my husband's 60th birthday on 22nd January this year, what a treat we had. The hotel is superb, the staff very friendly and helpful and the food was beautiful. The restaurant settings for both breakfast and dinner are lovely, the choice and quality are second to none. You could not ask for a better location for a city hotel, this is in the centre and all the attractions are within walking distance or the bus is only up the road. All in all a highly recommended hotel which lives up to your expectations.

Creepy, seems haunted. Small rooms, old, corroded pipes, slow water flow in shower.And we had a Junior Suite! Battery in TV remote dead. Definitely not a 5 star hotel - 3 star at best. We arrived in the evening and got out of there first thing the next morning and were charged for an additional night due to their 24 hr cancellation policy. Did not matter - we had to get away from that place. Yes, it's the Ritz we are talking about!

I liked the "old world" feel: fancy, extravagant, and lavish experience in a modern, fun, bohemian city. However, with so many hotels in Barcelona, you can stay at a much cheaper place and save your money on other things, such as restaurants, or sightseeing. I went on business and it worked great for that. However, I did find that it needed some renovation, as it seemed like one of the first big hotels in Barcelona.

This hotel was an experience total explaing what Europe stlye is all about the way it looks in the pictures that really the way the rooms are ! The concier people where very helpful and friendly set us up in great locations for starting from bull fighting to flamenco shows and seting us up on a trip to the Island of IBIZA where u party all night long Overall this hotel is highly recomended!
