Recent visit off the beaten path provided excellent service, great value and taste on the food, in fact soooo much food it was a value of two meals for the price of one. New management has the Tavern headed in the right direction. This is an excellent choice for any occasion!!!!!!!

Bad!!!!!!!!!

We've been fans for years (before the flood) and wanted to revisit our favorite inn. What a disappointment! The service was bad! Food was below par, and the whole experience was awful! Should have went MacDonald's instead! Never will go again! The wings were dry and hard, the potato shins were so over cooked you could barely cut them with the knife and the crab cakes had no flavor (I scraped off the mustard since it was so over powering). Since they were not busy when we got there, there was no excuse for any of this!

Horrible Easter Buffet

Worse dining experience of my life! If they have a chef, I'd like to know what their training was. Terrible, terrible, terrible!!! When we came in, we asked the hostess if they were still serving ... she said she didn't know. A waitress went to find out. Wish we had left at this point, but we'd driven a long way, and Zoar is in the middle of nowhere. I asked hostess when they close. She said she didn't know. Buffet tables were dirty, food was nearly gone, what was left was overcooked. The dessert table was disgusting. The chicken pesto that I tried, I had to spit out...tasted spoiled. It was so nasty...the whole experience. They should be ashamed.
