Days Inn Merced, Merced

I'm often in Merced to visit my grandma in the Rehab Center. So I do have experience in staying at a few different places in town. I have been to this place about four times so far and stayed for three nights each visit. They have the best staff, very friendly and helpful. The price and quality of the rooms are excellent. I couldn't ask for more. I usually leave early in the morning, before breakfast hours and they have been so generous to arrange some extra coffee, juice and muffin packages. This is the only place I feel safe.

When we check-in there was no greeting from staff, the equipment in the gym wasnt working the pool was okay. The water got turn off in the middle of the night due to the ongoing freeway construction and the staff could have told us that during check-in so not being able to use the bathroom was horrible and we couldnt get a refund.

I have really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. They supplied everything i couldve needed, really this place was amazing. The service i recieved was also great, the staff really were gems. i asked for late check out and they didnt have a problem with that, and they didnt even charge us a extra fee which we really liked.

Felt right at home. Certainly do recommend this beautiful property to everyone who can. The staff were extremely generous, they greeted us with a smile everytime, and the rooms were ever so perfect. The hotel is located right on the freeway, however there was no noice heard in the rooms. Really impressive. Everything and anything we wouldve needed was supplied for a descent price: a microwave oven/refrigerator, clean coffee pots with both decaff and regular coffee, bottles of water, cookies and other snacks, and most important COMFY BEDS! We also really enjoyed there continental breakfast that came along with a free news paper. We have stayed at almost every hotel in the town of Merced, but this one was the best. We can safely say other hotels should learn alot of things from this hotel.

This was a real nice place to stay. They provided everything I could imagine, was really impressed with the complimentry bottled waters, cookies and granola bars, along with mint candies,not to mention the handy exercise room and laundry facilities. Also it was really nice of them to offer wireless and hardwire internet! Lastly, I loved the beautiful garden. Most important the staff was pleasent! =)

..for a night. Don't count on breakfast - its not really a continental breakfast in the lobby, no newspaper was offered, as advertised. I was disappointed.
