Okay for $50 mid week
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/14/11
The Travelers Inn in Needles, Ca is right off the I-40 easy access. It was clean on the outside and the in the room. The people were pleasant. We got a room on the 2nd floor away from the pool it was quiet. The air conditioner was VERY noisy!! The pillows were old and lumpy. No TV list of channels. The bed was not uncomfortable but not the best. .Over all it was an okay stay. We had been on the road for 13 hours and ready to stop.

Awful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/5/07
There's nothing worse than a disrespectful and inconsiderate manager. When we used the guest laundry, the washing machine broke as soon as the washer filled up. We talked to Betty, the manager, over the phone. She was not only unsympathetic, but downright rude. Her solution was to squeeze out the clothes and "find" a laundromat that was open at 11:00 at night. Then she hung up on us. The room itself was okay, but the rug was in dire need of a face lift.

Dollar for dollar you can't beat it!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/2/07
I always stay at the Travelers Inn when I go to the river in Needles. The staff is the best and friendliest in all of Needles. If I do encounter a problem they resolve it without hesitation. They have restraunts nearby that are willing to deliver to the room or even poolside. The rooms are a great value and its family / river visitor friendly. It was pleanty clean considering its in the middle of the desert and frequented my people going to the river. You can hear the A/C but it did keep the room cool for the enitre trip.

Barely average, but passable.
By conig's, 7/2/07
The hotel was the better alternative to sleeping on the beach at our campsite. Our friends stayed on the site at night with my husband. While I prefer to take the kids and get a shower and sleep on a bed. The hotel was passable. The A/C was loud and barely effective. The floor above us was creaky...we could hear every step they made in the room above us. We hardly had any towels in our room. On the first day the maid never made one of the beds, we were gone from 7am to 9pm so they had plenty of time. The free coffee was weak. The beds were okay. The TV was not very clear but watchable. The remote could not turn off the TV so I had to get up to turn it off from bed. The in room fridge was small and barely kept out water cool. The bathroom was clean and the shower worked fine, but the tub stopper did not work, so no baths for the kids. The price was good and they are walking distance to the McDonald's (who have great coffee). It wasn't horrible, but do not expect a resort!! There is a great supermarket (Bashahs) just one exit away and a Rite-Aide for the things you forget to pack for the River. The LOCATION (freeway easy with lots of stuff nearby) makes it a very possible choice for next year dispite this experience...if it is still priced right.

Bring earplugs
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/4/07
It was clean. Plenty to dislike, though. The pool and spa were locked up on a hot day because mattresses were stacked up inside the gates. A maid was vacuuming the room above at 9:30 pm! That floor was extremely creaky, and the pacing up there continued past midnight. The front desk first said there was a guest in it, then said it was empty. Must have been a lead-footed ghost. And in the morning, not so much as a cup of coffee.

Needs to clean Pool
By shelley C, 8/2/06
This past July we stayed at the Travelers Inn. The people were very friendly, although they never had enough clean towels. But my biggest complaint was their pool was filthy. We were very disapointed for that was a Hot weekend.

Chlorine odor overwhelming
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/14/06
We decided NOT to stay because the odor of chlorine (bleach) in the rooms was overwhelming. Moreover, there were NO screens on the windows of the rooms we looked at, so the rooms couldn't even be aired out easily.

We always stay with them!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/16/05
We always make family trips to needles to visit the river and have some family time. When we make plans to the river we never hesitate to make reservations at the Travelers Inn. The value is great, location is just a few miles away from the river, and it is clean! The best is that they have complimentary coffee in the morning!
