Amish Country Inn, Millersburg

We have stayed there a dozen times. At first it was very nice and accomodating. The last 2 visits were bad. The last one was the worst. They had a wedding spread out all over the hotel and people were throwing up, yelling , slamming doors, etc. at 1 a.m. in the morning . The police came, but the staff was not concerned. I have contacted the GM twice now and he won't even respond. Beware if you want a restful sleep look again.

My wife and young daughter stayed at the Berlin Hotel & Suites on Sept. 19-20, 2009 and couldn't have been more satisfied with the hotel. We stayed in a kingsize bedroom facing the parking lot side in the lower level. Our room was very nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was of good size and clean as well. The shower was hot and the water pressure was very good. They bathroom was stocked with Bath & Body Works shampoo & conditioner hair products. The room also had a black leather chair with a small ottoman. The room was equipped with a 42" Vizio flat screen TV mounted on the wall which was sweet. We brought our laptop computer so we were able to take advantage of the free WIFI internet service. The room temperature is controlled by a wall mounted thermostat which worked well. During our stay, we used the indoor pool which was very enjoyable. They also have a steam room, sauna and exercise facility which we did not use. The continental breakfast was good and had the standard cereals, toast, bagels, waffles, fruit, cookies and milk, coffee and orange juice. The grounds of the hotel are very nicely landscaped and have some nice paved walking paths to use. There is a nice gazebo to sit under if you choose to go outside and sit by their pond. They also have a nice fire ring if you want to enjoy an evening by the fire. The hotel is built on the side of a hill and the views are very nice. From the hotel you can see farms, silos and cows and many horse and buggy's going down the road. The location of the hotel is also a plus because it is literally in the heart of Amish Country and many of the amish activites and attractions are just down the road or within a few minutes drive. If you want a nice, clean affordable resort style hotel in the heart of Amish Country, you cannot go wrong with staying at the Berlin Hotel & Suites. We will be back!

liked the rooms hard to get around hotel and personnel was not very helpful hot tub was hot but was just like sitting in hot water.

I have stayed there I think this time coming up in Sept. will be the 6th time with this hotel and we truely love the relaxed laid back feeling we get every time we stay there.The food there at the Dutch Harvest Rest. is really good and you can just walk over to eat.It is a wonderful experience to have. This is by far the nicest & cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in for under $100! A local told us of this hotel that is being renovated and we loved the huge HD Plasma TV, and great bed, with very comfortable sheets and Duvet. We did not plan on staying over, but we enjoyed Berlin and the shops so much we decided not to drive home and stay another day. So glad we did. We are planning another stay this fall with some friends and plan on staying here again, why would you go anywhere else?

I drove over an hour and a half to stay in a jacuzzi room at this hotel and was VERY disappointed when I turned on the jets in the jacuzzi and the water turned bright yellow. I, of course, wanted some sort of restitution for this since I drove so long and paid $100 for this room. I was told from the hotel that I would receive a full refund for the price of the room and two months later all I have received is $20. Everytime I call and talk to a manager all no one can give me any information on the status of my refund. Customer service is obviously not a priority to these people!!!

My family and I had a wonderful time visiting Amish Country and the Country inn last year. We stayed for 3 days and the service,our rooms,the food etc. was all good!!! I reserved 2 rooms for all my family and they made sure our rooms were beside each other.I brought along my parents,sister and her husband,my husband and 2 kids and we had the best time!! Thank you for making us feel so Welcome! look forward to my next visit in a few months!! See ya then.

This was our second stay here in 2 years. The first year was fine but this year we stayed in a new renovated room and could not be more pleased. Even though there was construction going on around us our room was great. Big 42 inch TV, new beds, 6 pillows on our king bed (my wife always takes the extra pillow and leaves me with one), carpet looked brand new. There is a great place to eat right next to the hotel. We will be back, cant wait to see it when it is finished.

I have had a retreat there for the past 2 years. The first year it was excelent! Last year it was ok. The price went up a lot! This year we are having it there again to give you one more shot! So far the cost is great and you have been very helpful!

We all came for the creative memories scrapbook weekend and had a wonderful time. The food was excellent, the staff very friendly, and the room was spotless. We even got to feed baby ducks that were outside our room! It was a very fun weekend! Thanks staff!
