Ocean Sands Motel, Wildwood

We stayed at this motel over a year ago and it was just so-so. Rooms were okay. This year we went back and some things have changed. Some of the rooms got renovated, we asked about this and were told that the rest of the rooms will be renovated for next year. There is new management and very nice, and helpful! New maids also, who are very polite and get you anything that you may need. Like i said some of the rooms are older and you have to expect that. But they do a great job at cleaning. I love that the pool is very big and the men keep it VERY clean. I will be returning next year! GREAT JOB GUYS!

horrible! I read the reviews about this motel and I went to try it out: it was just horrible, the worst experience I ever had in Wildwood (I got serveral times a year). First the room was nasty! The carpet instead of being a darkish red it was black in different spots, there was spider webs, very few lights in the room (felt like I needed to bring a flash light with me), the stove did not work right it would take us about 45 min just to boil water, and not to mention we are supposed to get clean towels and out room cleaned every day and that did not happen. I love clean places that is my number one thing that i MUST have.... this motel seriously lacked it. I am going back to Wildwood on labor day and I am Staying away!!! Someone said that the rooms are modern...NO! horrible looking rooms feels like it was out of an old horror movie. I wanted to leave the first day. I know I am the only person (on here) who did not like the hotel but it was just horrible in so many ways. I am used to a different type of living one that is extremely clean. If you do not believe be give them a try..I am sure u will regrect it. I paid $229 a night and the experience was horrible. I normally pay $170 a night and the rooms are clean and to my liking. best of luck!

Jean( the manager was wonderful) so helpful. The rooms were clean, and convinant to everything I wanted to visit. I went for Bike Week, I was half a block from the main drag, and one block away from the boardwalk. I will definatly be going back for years to come.

What i liked about the Ocean Sands was that it was my first time there ans it right by the beach and not far from the board walk.

This place is awsome!! The people here are great, they are the freindliest staff in the hotel business. By the time you leave you feel like Jean the manager is your family. The boardwalk is a hop skip and jump away, there is no need to drive any where the location is great. The rooms are very clean and comfertable. The pool and B-B-Q area are also very nice. Keep up the good work Jean you make OCEAN SANDS a great place to go in the Summer!!!

What more could you ask for Jean the manager is the BEST, nothing is to much, she will go out of her way to make sure you are happy and that you stay was pleasant. The hotel sits right behind the boardwalk cross the street and you are there. The rooms, pool, and staff are great. We have gone down quite often this year and always stay here. We Have stayed in years past at other properties in the Wildwood area, but this ranks up there with the best. Would strongly recommend!!!!!!!!!

We were just in Wildwood for the Classic Car Show in September. The hotel was nice and Jean, the manager, was very kind. Mind you this is a small motel which could use a couple of upgrades, such as the shower heads and room lighting, but it was clean! We enjoyed our stay and the location was great. Would stay here again.

This is a great motel at a great location. Jean, the manager is so polite and helpful and the staff is the same. I would highly recommend this motel to anyone going to Wildwood. Never had to move the car, was in walking distance to everything. Can't wait to return.

I like staying at ocean sands because it is close to all the amusements and the rooms were very clean and up to date. everyone that worked at the hotel were helpful and friendly. I'm planning my next vacation for 2006 in wildwood and i'm planning on staying at the ocean sands. Keep up the good work
