Motel 6, Globe

After we checked in we noticed something on the side of the bed that looked like fecal matter and asked for someone to come down and change the sheets and clean it up. We were told if we wanted it cleaned we would have to strip the bed ourselves and come down to the office and get the clean sheets to change the bed ourselves. We also asked for a couple extra towels and were told that there were none. When we asked them later for them they stood there and dug through a black trash bag for the towels. We went out to visit family for an hour or so and when we came back the manager told us that he was going to kick us out as he felt that nothing he could do would make our stay acceptable. We told him we had children and that he would not be kicking us out for the evening, but that we would find another hotel for our remaining stay!! We ended up staying across the street in the Days Inn for less money, continental breakfast included and a clean room with friendly staff. I have never stayed at such an awful hotel with such a rude staff, do not stay at this hotel!! I cannot believe that the corporate headquarters of Motel 6 feels that this hotel is acceptable to carry the Motel 6 name!
