Pegasus Intl Hotel, Key West

The Hotel is great right on Duvall this is the only hotel my dive shop uses the staff there helps us with everything and they even have a place for us to part our bus could not ask for more. Thanks Sandeep you are the best. Southern Ocean Sports Valdosta ga

I Stayed in this hotel 3 days ago, everything was just perfec. ! I had a room overlooking Duval street on the top floor, u feel like in the middle of everything. Pool side with a new open Spice lounge was just an amazing place to be, u can get a drink and sit down on the sunset deck wich is also overlooking Duval st, watch over the people, relax. Room was perfect, clean and smell good, with flat scree TV, frige. Bathroom looks amazing. Girls at a Frontdesk was realy helpful, nice and very kind to us. I will recomend this hotel to all of my friends, and i'll be back again!!!

As one of the only hotels that will take students, we really had no choice. I read these reviews and was totally sketched out. HOWEVER, we had absolutly no problems with our room, service or anything. It is not a NEW hotel so if your looking for luxury then turn your head but to stay for a week, it was cool. It is in the best location and honestly I would stay at the "Peg" again!!! Thanks for the Peg for making the trip one to remember!

This is not a high-end hotel, at all, but the location can't be beat for Fantasy Fest. We found the staff, including the owner to be excellent, friendly and fully responsive to our problems. Yes, it is old, and yes it is a no-frills place, but it was acceptably clean, the bed was firm, and there was a frig and a microwave in the room. For Fanttasy Fest, this could be an excellent "party" hotel. Would not recommend this for older, more conservative people looking for a "resort" type accomodation. But if you don't mind people leaving their doors open while "playing" or some nudity, ... this IS THE PLACE! Given the right guests being there, it could be more fun than the street.

This was my first time in Key West and this hotel made it a really a bad experience. The receptionist at the front desk was sooooo rude and mean! She yelled at my husband infront of me and my friends. I cannot believe she still has a job! The worst customer service I have ever seen! The hotel was small and dirty. The room was so nasty! I cannot understand why the rates are so high at this place. Now, researching the hotels around that area I could of stayed at a much nicer place for the same price. The pool and hot tub was so gross. I didn't even go in. The tv didn't work and the toliet ran all night. My friend had to pay .25 cents for ice! Stay Away from this place!!!GROSS

After finding that my tent would not not work properly, I drove into town and found the Pegasus hotel. A night in my car would have been better than loosing good money to their establishment. Even a campsite could have provided more of what I wanted, which included a warm shower along with fewer bites from what was living witin their bed. Maybe I just had a bad reaction to the soap that they chose not to use. For $157 I recieved a lack of cusomer service along with a repugnant look in return for mentioning that their was no complimentary shampoo, warm water, or the ability to phone the staff due to a broken phone. After speaking with local business owners it seems as if the new ownership does not care about repeat cusomers, making them rely on naive customers coming into town without prior knowledge of their poor business practices.

This hotel, although in a great location, was a horrible part of our Key West vacation. The staff was rude from the moment we arrived, the rooms were old and broken, and the pool/hot tub area was filthy. The worst part of our stay was when they took our (and three other rooms) "security" deposit for busted pipes in the wall (which was completely out of our control)! We had the police come and although they agreed the pipes busting was due to old pipes and lack of maintenance they could do nothing. This hotel, sadly, put a bad taste in our mouth about our Key West vacation. Please don't stay here, it will be for your own good!

have been staying at the Pegasus twice a year for seven years. Last week was so bad,I had to check out after the first night. The locks on the doors were so old they did not work, the pool was filthy, The TV did not work, and the staff was so rude that other guests were checking out early and finding other places to stay. And if that wasn't bad enough, after the first night in there beds, I itched for hours. After a cpld shower, because there was no hot water, I checked out and found another place.

I have stayed at the Pegasus for the last two years...(2003 and 2004) This year I found a very different Pegasus...I understand that they under went a hurricane this year but what we had to deal with had nothing to do with the hurricane. We arrived to be put into a room I specifically asked NOT to have. (my reservation was made 8 months ahead) We then realized that the toilet didn't work. The maintenace man came up and fixed it, but we still couldn't get it to work with out taking the lid off. We asked for a different room, at first we were told that they were all booked, then we complained a little "louder" and the room was found. At first the receptionist told us she couldn't give us the difference in the rooms ($130). Because, it was our decision to change. Well, again we voiced our unhappiness with that and they complied. Our new room was fine. Not as clean as it should have been, but we didn't spend much time in it. The hot tub by the pool was DISGUSTING. It was cloudy extremely warm just nasty. The pool wasn't cleaned once while we were there (5 days) I hope management reads this. The woman who work the desk need an attitude adjustment, or they need to bring back the men they used to have...SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE...The only great thing about the Pegasus is it's location...That's it.

The location is perfect - right on Duval - walk to anywhere - restaurants, bars or even Mallory Square for the Sunset Celebration.
