they do not keep good houskeepers!!that have worked in 5 star inns because they want to pay over seas people cheap money in exchange for rent so americans are loosing work because this hotel would rather be dirty and exspect people to pay high prices for rooms that are filthy...this buisness should be shut down...in my opinion the owner is a selfish,cheap,arrogant,s.o.b to let people sleep in his rooms knowing they are of no quality...i wouldnt let my dog stay there..even for free..

We stayed at the Econolodge for 2 Nights. The atmosphere was wonderful. The Front Desk and Housekeeping staff went above and beyond our expectations. High Speed Wireless Internet, Free HBO, Brand New Pillow Top Mattresses. The pool was clean and kept. The rooms were impeceable.The breakfast was more than what you would expect with a continental Breakfast. And the rate was less than what was expected for the quality and service we had gotten. We have and would recommend this lodging facility to anyone looking for a comfortable,clean high quality place to stay in Kennebunk Maine.

The people are very nice, the location is great. Close to everything. The room smelled like very strong cleaning fluid. The heat was not sufficient, so it was a very cold stay. The room did not look like it had been cleaned very well. There was hair, and other assorted things in the bathroom. The linens smelled funny also. But, for the low price, and just a place to sleep, it was sufficient for a couple of nights. I just did not spend a lot of time there.
