5 reviews for Sandstone Inn And Restaurant, Torrey
"Kickstands down at the Sandstone"
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/21/09
September Motorcycle Ride: Called late in the planning stages of the ride. Secured a room for one night. "Bikers' Special" rate included two dinners & two breakfasts. Rooms: Clean & comfortable. Included a small refrigerator & a small microwave. Quiet too because you're away from the highway. Dinner: Fantastic! Breakfast: Started the day off with a great meal. Coffee was freash, hot and tastey. Scenery: Well, this Southern UT. Need I say more. Service: Top notch & friendly. The management asked us if we wanted a couple of towels to wash the bugs from the motorcycles. There was an area in the parking lot to do this as well. Truely enjoyed my stay. I'll be back! 5 stars from me * * * * * Fast Freddie, West Jordan UT

Super!

Small town atmosphere. Very hospitable, safe, friendly, close to park. Great homemade food and lots on your plate for a good price. Good price for very pleasant stay.

Nice, clean, & comfortable
By Bruce, 05/24/07
Our room faced north, away from the highway. Clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Service was great. Restaraunt had a breakfast buffet. Excellent access to/from the main road with a gas station very close. Great place for motorcycles.

Wonderful place, wonderful view
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/09/06
My family of four enjoyed the quiet, clean room, the cable Tv and especially the indoor pool and hot tub after a day of hiking in Capitol Reef National Park. The hotel is very convenient- right at the junction of 12 and 24- but up on a hill away from the traffic. The restaurant prices are a little high, but there are lots of places to find food in Torrey.

Great Resort
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/20/05
My wife and I took our first trip to Capitol Reef and stayed at Wonderland Inn. We were pleasently suprised with all it had to offer. The views were unbeatable, and the service was great. It was quiet unlike the other hotels that we looked at because it is on the top of a hill, instead of right next to the noisy highway. I highly recommend it.
