Beware! New Owner!
To look at the website, you'd think Gracie's Landing would be a wonderful romantic B&B. Beautiful rooms, (photos on the website) notes about a "hot & hearty" breakfast, "spa" in the room, etc. We paid $135 for one night and we got: An ancient whirlpool tub with cigarette burns on it. The hot & hearty breakfast was an open loaf of grocery store bread, a dirty toaster, a half-used jar of jelly, and so on. There was something in the abandoned warmer, but I didn't look.
We went to the Sea Hag for breakfast...the owner was sorry we got into such a situation, since she used to own Gracie's Landing...it's now known as "Harbor Lights". The owner seems to be absentee, there was only an employee there who enjoyed turning his radio station up to ear-splitting levels. Stay here at your own risk, folks. It's nothing like it used to be. I should note that the building is lovely, with a nice paint job, the view is very good, and each room has a private balcony. But that's it.
