Last stay was 1994 (for the second time) and pleased with our accomodations. The people are very nice, friendly and hospitable. The town is very very old but so quaint. Don't just pass through. The people were very interested in meeting Americans (at least that was the case then - who knows these days). The restaurants feature real fabulous home cooking. The best!!Another plus is that it is near the railroad, which allowed us to train it to Milan and then to Lake Como (a favorite)- less expensive than staying in Milan.
