I will never come again

I have been very disapointed with this hotel, I came at the end of august, the hotel was full, I first had to wait 3 hours in lobby for checking ( no one came to offer me a drink or at least sale me one!!!) with staff ignoring us, once in the room the tv was not working properly, i was told tomorrow will be fixed, off course! 6 days later nothing happened.the swimming pool water was very cold, and the poolbar looked like it had not been used for years,breakfast was full most of the time with no where to sit and under staffed, the restaurant was half open with all the staff hanging around the bar waiting for life to go by, overhaul it was a major disapointment this hotel need some serious REFURBISHING!! and MANAGEMENT CONTROL!! and it does not have what it shows on the website. don't bother!!!!

Out of Season Excuse

Apparently we were just past the main season (end of September) and the place certainly did not seem 'renovated', in fact it seemed in need of renovation! The only beer choice available was a small bottle of one local beer at a ridiculous price. Half the restaurant menu was not available, staff was minimal with the bar just plainly un-attended until you checked with reception. Insecticide spraying was done outside the dining room during dinner time spreading a nasty smell and noisy. Some guests on the lower floors had to ask for a different room because of the smell! Lifts were clunky and not always working... The website we booked it on also had a map which showed it at a completely different address, causing us great distress (we were on bicycles and the extra 10km in traffic was not pleasant after a 135km day!). The rooms did not have two beds in it like advertised with photo, only 1 king and one sofa bed. We stayed for 2 nights and moved on.

very enjoyable stay

i was recently stayed at the hotel savoy. the entire staff was friendly and helpful. you are able to choose from lounging on the hotels semi-private beach or enjoying the sun at the swimming pool complex,with swim up bar. dining room staff extreemly friendly with service promt and curtiouse. the comlpemetary hot and cold breakfast buffet comtained a wide range of items from cereal to eggs and sausage.
