10 reviews for Cliffrose Lodge And Gardens, Springdale
Wonderful Setting and Location
By Rita, 07/05/08
When we checked in we did not realize how beautiful the gardens would be. They are so attractive they have made me want to go home and start a flower garden. The pool, spa, room, laundry, office everything was just perfect and we had not planned to stay there at all. We had a suite so there were two TVs which was wonderful with children. What a jewel. The pictures do not do it justice.

Would Definitely Stay Here Again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/17/07
Lovely place to stay! Had great rooms and a wonderful view. Desk clerk got testy when we asked for an extra one hour after check out time (just finished a strenous hike in Zion) and charged us $10! Lots of reviews seem to indicate the summer help in these areas is lacking in service skills. Don't miss eating at the Spotted Dog! Fantastic.

A Perfect Spot
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/18/06
We were making a tour of national parks and decided to stay here while visiting Zion. After staying in a variety of lodging within the parks, this was such a refreshing change. It was a quiet, beautiful oasis that had excellent service, was very clean and within walking distance to Zion. The gardens were gorgeous and the pool was very nice. It was located just down the street from downtown Sprindale and all the restaurants and shops you could want. The room was a good size and I appreciated the mini-refrigerator. Each room had a balcony or terrace to enjoy the views of Zion. My only regret was that we couldn't stay here any longer. If we are able to come back someday, this is definitely where we will stay.

What a view!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/24/05
The grounds were beautiful, the staff were friendly, helpful and courteous, the pool refreshing and the rooms were clean and neat. One of the nicer stops we had. And it IS right next to the entrance to Zion N.P., which was very convenient!

Great long weekend in Zion at Cliffrose
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/03/05
The Cliffrose Lodge is within walking distance of Zion's park entrance and shuttle system. Also right next to a good coffee shop for the morning, and good smoothies for the afternoon heat. Extremely convenient. The hotel itself was quite nice and clean. The pool was fantastic, affording a great view of the surrounding canyons walls and beautiful sunsets. I would definitely stay there again, although I'd also like to check out the Desert Pearl Inn, which looked quite nice as well.

Relaxing enviornment with a fantastic view!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/09/05
This was a great early winter retreat for us. We stayed in an upper level canyon view suite and became instant fans of the winter alpen glow. The jetted tub and the outdoor jacuzzi both made for great retreats after hiking. You can walk along the river to the Visitor Center and the staff was very helpful in giving us plenty of ideas for activities.

Great Place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/24/04
I took my family to the cliffrose over the summer. It was the perfect for us. Along with the huge lawns and beautiful gardens, there was a great playground for the young ones, a massive pool, with an amazing hot tub. Also my teenagers loved the state of the art basketball facility. And all of it is set in the most scenic place I have ever been. The view from our room was uncomparable to anything I have ever seen. I highly recomend it.

Beautiful Gardens and an Amazing View!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/04/04
What a great surprise the Cliffrose was on our visit to the Southwest this summer. An amazing view from our balcony and beautiful lanscaped lawns and gardens. The pool was sparkling clean and refreshing and the view of the Watchman from the jacuzzi was fabulous. The location in proximity to the Zion Visitor Center is great as well. Definitely stay here if you want to enjoy the beauty and splendor of Zion Canyon. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff was great.

WOW - stay here!"
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/04/04
What more can I say - what a perfect place to stay.

Don't get me wrong - This is a Motel not a 5* hotel! When your inside the room it could be any motel/hotel room anywhere. Its clean, comfortable, air conditioned and not especially fancy in any way, but open up those patio/balcony doors and WOW. Landscaped tropical gardens, 360 degree mountain & cliff views, humming birds feeding inches from your face - amazing.

The pool is way beyond what you'd expect from a motel, and theres even a sand pit for the kids to play in. Add to this the fact you can walk to the main gates of Zion NP visitor centre then this is truly a great value for money - especially if you have kids. My favourite lodging on our 6 week US trip!
