Heritage Inn, Huntingdon

The Heritage Inn is located on a very busy intersection on a major highway. Because of it's location, you can hear loud brakes and sirens all night. The price was rediculous for the standard room accommodations. Staff at the front desk were rude and unconcerned about your stay. The breakfast was complimentary but it only ranged from sausage and biscuit on one day and sausage gravy and biscuit on the next. Pastries were all straight from a package. The carpet in my room was filthy. Even though there are no signs stating there is a pet charge, I was charged after the fact for my pet. Unfortunately, there is no other choice of stay in this town unless you drive to Interstate 40 (which was 16 miles away). There were stains on the bed sheets that caused me to purchase my own linens. Overall- avoid this place at all costs.

The room rate was rather high. Not a lot of choices for places to stay in Huntingdon so this place has the monopoly. The main road outside the hotel is definitely noisey even inside the rooms.
