My husband and I stayed at the Hampton Village Resort for the months of June and July, 2010. The staff at the Resort was very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The rooms were nice and comfortable with refrigerator and microwave included. We were on the third floor and even when the hotel was full, we were not bothered by noise or loud people. This resort is in a great area where you could walk to restaurants, the library, grocery store, post office and pharmacy and yet still be within a mile of the beach ..! Staff were there 24 hours a day so security was never a problem. The rates were very reasonable... A good place to stay in Hampton NH !

OMG WHAT A DUMP
By ,
Nothing was right. The staff are beligerant, disrespectfull and down right rude. Pool, Jacoussi over clorinated and cold. Rooms ancient. A TV I didn't know existed anymore small, dark and cannot get most channels. Towels worn and ripped, some stained spots were cut out not washed out. Sheets thin, and no heat in our room. Complained but fell on deaf ears. The Owner introduced himself as Paul and he should sell out and go get a real job. No idea on how to treat customers. The night clerk, might as well be dead. No communications what so ever. Busy playing his guitar, voice overs and everything but attentative to our needs. Continental Breakfast the worst coffee I have ever had. Pastry stale, frozen and from a discount warehouse somewhere. Never again and neither will any of my employees or family ever stay in this dump again

very disappointed
By ,
Originally from Hampton, thought this place would be fine for our needs, a place to sleep and shower. Room was clean, but had an odor. Beds very uncomfortable and towels very thin and very scratchy. ( I have better cleaning rags.) Had just paid the same rate at a nice hotel in Salem, so thought price was in line. Will not be going back to this one.

Planning another trip back the 4th. of July 2009!
By ,
Me and my lady were traveling through N.H. on our way back to Mass. from Maine. Found you in the I-95 Hotel travel savings brochure, When we located you we were very surprised to find such a warm and welcoming Inn! So cozy and romantic. We loved everything about your Inn. The parking, the easy access, the close proximity to restaurants and the front desk lady was so nice and such a pleasure to do business with. We had such a special weekend and our stay at your Inn allowed us many more special memories to cherish. We have stayed in 5* hotels and I must say that your lodge left a lasting impression on us. Can't wait to return in July and enjoy your Inn once again. The pool, sauna and the hot tub was very enjoyable. The in-room dinette, refrigerator and microwave made our stay very convienient. The room was also very nice. An excellent price for all the aminities! The danish and coffee breakfast was also very good. Thanks for making our w/e so special. We will recommend the Hampton Village Inn to our friends! I would also recommend the chinese restaurant beside you!....Thanks again.

ARE YOU KIDDING ?
By ,
I travel extensively and came upon this hotel at 2 AM, it was open and available. I have not seen such a place in many years, firstly, the front desk person was sleeping and nonreceptive to my being there. I was greeted as if he was doing me a favor or he could not be bothered I was there. I overpaid for a room that smelled like an old dirty sock. The entrance area was filthy, should have known better, but I was dead tired. I would have slept better if the person next door did not have their TV on volume on 96, I called the front desk, but to no avail nothing was done!!! I tried to take a swim the next morning, but the pool was 61 degrees and I tried the hot tub next, it looked like a frog pond, unbelievable. Well all was not lost, I had a cup of brown water and a cake that was as old as the hotel that they call a continental breakfast. Needless to say, I will sleep in my car the next time. HORRIBLE PLACE!!!!!

Get more for your money

This is a perfect place to go with a family. You don't have to worry about any hidden supprises about your stay. The kids will have plenty of thinks to do after a long day at the beach. They can play arcade games, swim in an indoor pool or just relax in a clean air conditioned room. Mom can enjoy her self to. Thier's plenty of different shopps to go that is so close to the hotel. I speak from expierience from staying there every year. I enjoy the hot tub the most. After a long day of deep sea fishing on local boats it's a real nice way to relax your sore muscles.

Great Place! Great Price!
By ,
Usually arrive after midnight from the west coast into boston. An easy ride from Logan Airport to Hampton. Parking can be tight, but can use restaurant next door for parking. Owner is on the premise and always happy to see repeat customers. Just a few miles drive to Hampton and a bunch of restaurants. Have always enjoyed my stays for the past 6 years. Pool and Jacuzzi are indoors, so a cold, rainy day won't spoil your stay at Hampton Village and Resort! RobertMunch

My May Spring Special
By ,
Now living in CA. I'm from MA, and have been coming back to The Hampton Village Resort and Inn for the last 5 years. Indoor Pool and Jacuzzi are GREAT! Close to Portsmouth, Hampton Beach and a one hour drive to Boston. Continental Breakfast could be "beefed up a bit" and kept open about an hour longer. I keep coming back in the Spring and Fall. Prices are GREAT if you plan on staying for a week! Always stay for two weeks. Check out the "L" Street Cafe in Hampton Beach for some of the "BEST" Seafood and ask for Amber. Tell her Bob from CA sent you! Don't let the Exterior of the "L" St. Cafe intimidate you. Try it once and you'll be hooked on the Fisherman's Platter! Robert H., Perris, CA January 30, 2006

Our Honeymoon spot
By ,
Very clean very cozy. The pool is great and it is located were you really do not have to drive anywhere to eat or shop. The beach is only a mile away and you are away from all that traffic. close to some nice resturants. Very affordable. Oh can't forget the table games. Brings me back to my youth playing break out and Ms Pac Man. Pool area very clean. We stayed on our Honeymoon Number one and keep going back every year.

No Place like Hampton Beach
By ,
I am always very happy to stay here. The inside pool area is great. On rainy days, still bad a blast. Clean, friendly and very safe place to stay.
