Owners have no sympathy for death
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/18/09
After staying in February and having a filthy room even after being moved to another filthy room I made reservations for September again since the price was good. I confirmed the day before arriving but the morning of the arrival I got word my dad was dying and called them. They charged me one full night's lodging even after I wrote, called and sent them a copy of my airline tickets along with promise of death certificate if requested-no matter what-they charged..

Beware...Not a resort, overpriced
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/19/09
- drapes falling of curtain rod - patio screen didn't open without a fight - TV didn't work - stains in carpet - if your neighbor showers, you are awakened! - ice maker didn't work Management only gave 10% and wasn't empathetic. Ocean view? yes, but the property was a joke. Avoid the breakfast, the fitness center wasn't one...any motel can call it self a resort and charge higher prices. Do not recommend...avoid

Caution Construction!
By BobJ, 07/09/07
My wife and I checked in for a relaxing three day weekend and ended up checking out the next day and moving further up the beach to another hotel. I would like to preface the following with this statement. The staff at the front desk and the manager were very nice in accomodating our departure and I hold their service in high regard. However, the room had an odor of exposure to sea air, the sheets don't fit and the bed is very hard. The biggest issue is that the condos are currently under construction and our relaxing afternoon was interrupted by powers saws and repeated hammering. Don't plan on relaxing in the afternoon until construction is done and it looks like it has just started recently. We didn't see the rest of the amenities (breakfast, spa), but assume that they are just fine or better. The WIFI connection was spotty at best and I spent a long time bouncing on and off the server (no DVD or VCR either). Location was very near the beach and it had a decent view. Perhaps when the construction is complete...

Awesome...everything!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/26/06
This place was awesome. It is right on the beach, so you don't need to cross some highway or anything to get there. The walk to the beach was less than a minute. The beach was sandy and not very crowded. The room had a great ocean view. Watching the sunset from my own balcony was great. They also had wireless Internet! YES! Their indoor pool and spa was one of the cleanest that I've ever seen. It was also heated! The breakfast in the morning was more than I expected. They served more than the regular "continental" breakfast that most motels serve. Also, they had a little laundry facility which was a lifesaver. For all you travelers out there, you know what I'm talking about! The service was fast. Everyone was friendly and wanting to help. The location is excellent. It's less than a 5 minute drive to the jet boats and walking distance to different restaurants and it's right on the beach!

G-R-E-A-T!!!
By Malia, 07/25/06
The service was excellent. The rooms were good and clean. The breakfast in the morning was very good. The short walk to be beach, private balcony, and ocean view made it all worth it. They had a little sandy path to the beach and chairs on the balcony so you can watch the sunset. The ocean view right from our room was excellent. If you stay there, I highly recommened getting the upper floor.

Great weekend getaway.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/26/05
Great service with indoor pool, views of the ocean, and a short walk past the dunes to the beach, worth the price, free breakfast, but you have to try the strawberry pancakes at Grant's Pancake & Omelet House, just down the street.
