Hotel or Brothel?

I was warned by other co workers who stayed not to and I didn't listen. My credit card was over charged by 2 nights. When I spoke with the manager Jerimiah, he was very unprofessional. He actually hung up on me and would not answer the phone when I called back. I was told I was going to be placed on a "do not rent list". Hotel had a lot of "traffic" from rooms at all hours of the night. Its like a high school party hotel. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY HERE. Unless your into prostitutes.

Perfect getaway....

Very nice place to stay. The pool was excellent (though a bit dirty), the breakfast was a nice surprise and the staff was friendly and at our disposal. I was traveling with my wife and 4 month old and it was a pefect stay, we were in town for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and to our happy surprise found days of stuff to do---Browns camp is walking distance from the motel, the MetroZoo is fantastic, and downtown Cleveland was a pleasure. What a great experience.

Slum hole

When we went to check in through the drive in, nobody would wait on us. My husband had to pound on the glass to get the front desk agent's attention. Later we found out his name was Roderic. He wore a black stocking cap and frankly looked like a robber and not a desk agent. When we went for breakfast at 6am we saw the desk agent sitting in the breakfast area eating instead of filling the empty breakfast. Real classy! We will not be returning.

Not happy with several things

The continental breakfast was very small and stale. We lost power 4 or 5 times in one evening and 1 time another evening. We were awakened in the middle of the night with loud sounds from the shower pipes (like they were going to explode) which stopped when we flushed the toilet. Also, they charged us each day for the safe that we did not ask for, did not want and did not use. They said they had to charge because it was in the room. We will never stay there again.

Safe Area

I just stayed one night, but thought the hotel staff was great. The shuttle drivers did not let me lift a finger and were very friendly. This hotel has outside entrances which are not my personal preference, but fine if that's what you like. I went for a walk in the area and felt very safe. My room was comfortable and clean, but I agree with another reviewer that a few updates could be made, but everything is functional. They did have a microwave and refrigerator in the room which was nice. From what I saw, I don't think you could go wrong with any of the hotels in that area.

Very nice hotel!

The room was very clean, the housekeeping was prompt and thorough. Most hotels smell like hotel (chemicals and cigarettes)--this one did not. Check-In was easy (they have a drive-thru). The area where the hotel is was neat and relatively quiet, with several restaurants nearby. The free breakfast was minimal, but tasty. The price was excellent--about $52 a night, with the internet reservation discount. My only complaint would be that housekeeping was a little TOO prompt sometimes. (They knocked on the door first thing 11A.M. Sunday morning). Don't forget that you must ask to have the safe charge removed from your bill at check-out!

Clean, Comfortable and Friendly

I have stayed at this hotel twice in the last six months. The drive thru check in is convient. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They provide a nice contiental breakfast. One thing I observed is how the staff worked as a team. When the breakfast area got busy all the staff from the front desk to the van drivers that were not busy pitched in and help keep the food stocked. We do a park & fly so we leave our car at the hotel and they provide us with transportation to and from the Airport. At check in we complete a form with you flight information and when you return they are waiting at the Airport to pick you up. Other hotels I have stayed in require you to call them to pick you up. I would give there staff an A+.

Excellent Customer Service

Hotel room was very clean, convenient location, good value for the money. Nice continental breakfast. Only thing I didn't like was that it had outside corridors...maybe not a safety issue if you're not travelling alone, but I was by myself on the lower level - but that certainly has no effect on my rating as to the hotel. The staff was extremely accomodating and could not have been nicer.
