We were stranded in Radford, VA when our car died on the way home to NJ from TN. The Executive Motel was perfect for our needs. A clean room at a reasonable price, decent wifi internet, walking distance to a grocery store, various fast food outlets, and a Walmart. There was a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The best part, though, was the kindness of the proprietor. Besides friendly conversation, he even offered to drive us to the mechanic when the car was ready. If I ever needed a place to stay in this part of VA I would definitely go back!
older property with the basics, but everything works, hot shower, cable tv, decent (newer) air conditioning, plus a mini fridge and microwave. Hard beds and cheap linens, but owner/operators are friendly and it's the cheapest place in town by a wide margin and it books up because of it. Lot of contractor types stay here.
This motel is not the Ritz Carlton or the Four Seasons but if you are in need of a room & concerned about your budget and can do without the bells & whistles you should find these accomadations most comfortable & safe for what they offer is good clean beds & the staff is very nice & friendly. Its location is good ,close to eateries ,department stores & even Walmart is a mile away.Housekeeping ,fresh linens, towels, tissues & coffee are provided daily.I would recommend this motel to anyone & especially workers needing a place for extended stays for their rates are very good. I have no complaints. Its refreshing in todays market to find a family owned business surviving and would stay again in a New York minute if I am back in the area for Hemal & his family were very good to me ......and I might add for any of you "Dirty Dancing " fans its 40 miles from where that movie was filmed for a lil' something extra to do ...
We have been staying here for the past 4 years, since our son has been at Radford University. The staff is always friendly and helpful and even knows us by name. Have had seen any bed bugs, room is clean. We are not in the room hardly except to sleep and feel very fine there. They also allow pets and we have never had any problems. Getting ready to go back this weekend. Highly recommond it for closeness and price!
I stay at this location quite often due to the university and believe it is a great value. The service is great, very friendly staff and always keeping the room clean. I read the comments about bed bugs and have never seen anything of the sort in my room, and I stay there close to every 3 weeks. Also, the location is really nice because it is close to all the area restaurants. Overall a great deal!
I saw the comment about bedbugs after we stayed. Because of all the media about bedbugs...I did check the mattress' and the room for bedbugs before bringing our luggage in. I did not see any. The room was sufficient.
The owner was very nice and helpful.
