Club Intrawest Vancouver, Vancouver

The place was nice, but the employees especially the front desk staff were unfriendly, and moreover, would not give us an upgrade or assist us in any way when our reservation was made incorrectly. The company does not give their employees any descision making roles - they are like robots. There were plenty of vacant rooms, but the staff would not assist us at all. In the states, a workable solution would have been created for our reservation issue. Will not stay there again!!

Liked the location and the staff was pleasant and helpful. Disliked the rooms. They were poorly designed. Only one person could squeeze between the dresser and the bed, the closet was approximately 18 inches wide and could only accomodate two jackets. There were holes in the ceiling of the bathroom. For the price we were greatly disappointed. During our trip we also stayed at the Granville Island Hotel which was twice as nice as the Sheraton. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Even with the location there are much nicer hotels for the money in that area. We have stayed in downtown Vancouver on other trips and have never stayed in such a disappointing hotel.

This hotel exceeded every one of my expectation, the view from teh full length windows was excellent. Room service was great and I have recommended this to several people already.

I really liked the hotel location, for being able to walk around and see a lot of the highlights of the city. Shopping and cultural exhibits were nearby, the room was clean and roomy....the check in and check out were simple. The conceirge desk personnel were well versed in schedules and locations of things. The only thing that bothered me was that to get to the spa or health club, it was a maze, and indoor and outdoor trotting from building to building.

the location of the sheraton wall center is second to none, close to shopping and great restaurants the starbucks is the lobby is also nice!

This place is fabulous. There is nothing I dislike. The service is excellent. I would love to come back and visit next year. The room is always neat when we get back from shopping. Lots to do!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything was nice. Rooms are small-ish but what views! Underground parking available, nice staff, etc. I'm sure this will be my destination of choice for years to come.

The Wall Centre is in a fine location. Our room (24th floor) had a few problems. The view was average (not great). The sound insulation between rooms is simply awful. The sound from the next room travels through the walls very easily - we could hear entire conversations. We switched rooms - same problem. We stayed in the north tower - a big mistake if you want helpful service. The concierge was never there - we were told to go to the south tower for that. Cabs and other pickups are only at the south tower. The health club costs money (!). There is no free internet anywhere - at $200/night this is absolutely ridiculous. You can't get to the pool from either tower without using steps - unless you want to go outside. The health club personnel are not friendly or helpful at all. We would never use this hotel again.

While checking in we were told that we had a room in the south tower with a great view. Upon arriving in our room, our "great" view was of the north tower. We asked for directions to the Vancouver Tower from two different staff members and they were both unhelpful, and one was rude (Neither was busy at the time) I asked if one street would lead us there and was sent down another street that had gang symbols spray painted on the buildings. We walked a different way back and it was a nice walk with many restaurants to choose from. The room had nice windows but had a horrible mildew smell. I walked down and told the desk clerk about it and he told me "Well, that's a traditional room". Fortunately we were only there one night. You also had to use your room card to use the elevator and it frequently did not work. Each time we used it, there would be several people in the elevator waiting for someone whose card would get the elevator to work.

i really liked this hotel the rooms very lovely and the staff were friendly i'd recomend this hotel to anyone i know i'd go here anytime again
