Holiday Inn Express, Bellingham

Check in was ok and the place looked decent until you get to the room. Every other Holiday Inn Express I have stayed at had flat screen tv's this one had a large one but from 1990 ( of course only a few channels to chose from ) then you go into the bathroom and wow talk about NASTY ( lots of hairs from who knows what or where all over the place ) the shower was luke warm if you were lucky ( while it ran it kept shutting down ) I could only take one night at this place and checked out as soon as I could the next day. Other reviews about the shouting matches in the halls were true ( at least on my stay ) and the door slamming made for a not so nice slumber. I would advise going to another chain or just avoid the area all together. I for one will never stay at this expensive DUMP again.

We stayed 2 nights here in order to go to Mt. Baker for a weekend boarding trip. The 1st night we were on the 2nd floor. At 3:45AM we woke up to women yelling at the top of their lungs cussing at one another, plus you could hear everyone coming back from the bar at all hours of the night. In the morning I asked we be moved away from the elevator. They gave us a room on the 3rd floor, all the way back from the elevator which was nice. However, it must have been drunken idiot weekend because again, at 2AM we hear a guy banging on someone's door telling them he will kill them if they don't quiet down as well as a few obscene words. The walls were paper thin, and it seems like a place EVERY loud obnoxious person goes for a good deal. Well, sorry but next time I'll take my business elsewhere.

We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Bellingham, we went for a shopping and casino weekend. The Holiday Inn had a great location 10 minutes walk to Bellis Fair and 10 minutes drive to Silver Reef Casino. The staff at the hotel were great, friendly and knowledgable about the area. The rooms were clean, spaceous and had been updated recently. The linens were wonderful as well as the signature line of bath products. The pool was nice and it had Adult only hours from 10pm-12am (VERY nice). The continental breakfast was great as well, warm sticky buns...yummy. Only one complaint...housekeeping did a great job cleaning the room, but they were a little stingy with things like soap, and plastic bags for the ice. If you like ice in your room you might want to ask for an extra bag. Overall a great trip and a wonderful stay.

I stay at this hotel frequently when I am in Bellingham. It's a safe and comfortable place to stay for a businesswoman traveling alone. I especially like the desk and office chair for working in the evenings and sppreciate the chair and ottoman for watching TV. The response to my requests (for pillows, hangers, etc.) is always prompt and the staff is gracious and friendly.

I've been to this hotel around 30-50 times and every time I go back it's like paradice without the beach and sun. The heated pool, free breakfest, and nice staff makes this a enjoyable place to visit.

Holiday Inn Express had great food, good comfort, and nice service. Of course everyone loved the pool the best. This is always where we stay when we visit Bellingham...
