What a dissapointment
By Herb, 11/28/11
This was the worst Hotel service i have ever had. the first person we met at the desk was cold and condescending. We thought maybe just bad day for that person but it just got worse from there. The other thing was I have never paid to park where I was staying, then they would park other peoples cars behind our car as there wasnt enough room for the cars they were parking there. First they tried to give us a different room than the one we had reserved, a cheaper room, then acted like we were asking for something special. I would stay anywhere else but here. I hope the people at Disney read this and investigate the places that are using their good name to sell rooms.

Highly Recommended!
By Tess, 6/16/09
I stayed in this hotel with my husband and 2 kids aged 12 and 7 from May 30 to June 4, 2009. We checked in late (we advised them) and the room was clean and ready when we got there. I loved the fact that it's just a 10-minute walk to Disneyland. In our 5 nights stay there, I would go back to our hotel room to rest and would just go back later on to Disneyland for another round of Disney fun. One time, my kids walked back with me so they could take a dip in the pool. The staff in the counter was gracious and accommodating. There was hot water and the airconditioner was working. I didn't like much their continental breakfast. If you're used to heavy breakfast like I am, then go buy your food in the restos near the hotel or in 7-11 about 3 blocks away and store them in the ref and make use of the microwave inside the room. It's also very convenient that there was an iron and ironing board inside the room. 2 nights out of 5, we saw the Disney fireworks display from the balcony of our 5th floor room. It was spectacular. There are no other buildings beside the hotel so Disneyland can be seen very well from the balcony. However, you have to ask Disney Information about their fireworks display because it was not in the Schedule being distributed for the week that we were there so we didn't expect it. If we had known there was going to be fireworks on the Wednesday that we were there, we would have watched it inside Disneyland. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel to Disney tourists. Even my friends who visited me were impressed with the hotel's location.

Terrible Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/28/08
What a disaster! We checked in and went to our room. The elevator smelled like cigarette smoke. Once we got to our room, my eight-month pregnant wife laid on the bed to relieve her back pain. She complained the bed was too hard for her. I sat on the bed and I could feel the springs. I agreed the bed was too hard. The hotel staff said all the beds were the same. We asked for a refund. The hotel staff said they could give us a refund. We asked to talk to the manager. My wife spoke to the general manager over the phone. The general manager told her that her being pregnant was not the hotel's problem. My wife asked for a refund so we could stay somewhere else. The manager responded by threatening to call the police on my wife and hung up on her. My wife is a soft-spoken woman and I am a 20 year combat vet military man. The managers actions were absolutely amazing to me. So we left and are now very happy in the Double Tree. It's like staying in a palace compared to the Camelot.

the pool is too small
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/13/07
I like the location of this hotel, very close to restaurants, walking distance to disneyland and you can view the fireworks from the pool. Things that they need to improve are the matress (kind of hard), breakfast, and the size of the hot tub (very small, the water is not hot enough)& the pool (also very small).

Best Suites Hotel by Disneyland
By Colleen, 3/2/07
This hotel is right across the street from the back entrance to Disneyland. The rooms are huge with wonderfully updated furniture. We had a suite so our 4 kids were in a room connected to ours. They had their own TV and the bathroom was connected to their room. In our room there was a small fridge a microwave and a sink. It was exactly what we needed and what fit our budget. Don't get me wrong, though, I would not rate this as a budget hotel. It would probably fit somewhere in the middle. The pool is on the 3rd floor so you can watch the fireworks from Disneyland from the pool.

We loved the Park Inn
By DavidK, 4/23/06
This hotel is geat! It is very close to Disneyland and also to many restraunts. We stay here almost every time we go to Disneyland and are looking forward to retuning in early May! The rooms are very large and the last few times we came here our rooms were upgraded to larger ones. The breakfast is nothing to write home about, but other than that, my family loves this hotel. The location of the Park Inn is one of the reasons we stay here. It is right across the street from the main entrance to the Park and is also very close to many restraunts, including Mac Donalds. We can't wait to come back and this hotel makes going to Disneyland a lot easier on us.

Never Again!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/19/06
I can say only 2 things positive about this motel. The location is great...right across the street from the Disneyland park and the hotel lobby looks very nice. But once you get past the lobby it is shabby & dirty. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls and the carpet was worn and looked dirty. The hotel reception staff were very abrupt and always in a hurry (even though we were the only ones in the lobby!). They were not friendly at all! They misquoted the ticket prices and pulled out a brochure to show me the price. Then we stopped back to find out which days the park opens early and they couldn't tell me a thing about Disneyland! They never heard of a brochure for the Disney Park Hopper tickets. This motel room was way over priced for the condition!
