Nothin' special at all
Stayed Thursday and Friday nights, Nov. 10 & 11 in Room 101. Chose this place because it supposedly supported a Christian attitude, which really wasn't apparent anywhere although a tract and wall plaque were in the room. Went I checked in, nothing but cold efficiency and when I checked out nothing but "OK, you're set to go"....no "Come Back" "How was your stay" or ANY other comments.
DO NOT stay in or near Room 101. Bus loading up about 20 feet from our door a little after 6:00AM. I called front desk and asked them to quiet these loud mouths down but they did nothing. Woman stood right in front of our window greeting everyone in a loud voice. In addition, Saturday morning, the hotel's trash truck (a black pickup) was parallel parked directly in front of our door nearly blocking it! Finally, water running thru the walls from above makes a taping sound for an extended period.
All in all, NOT a really good experience. Room was nothing special but did have a microwave and a refrigerator but NO coffee maker. Not much for $40.00 the first night and $110 the second night. With that kind of rate, you'd expect maybe some little shampoo bottles and toilet tissue that wasn't akin to 100 grit sandpaper. Finally some moron dumped some type of liquid off a balconey onto our car.
We are quiet, peace-loving people but this place was not for us!
