Casa del Gavilan is a historic inn, situated in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, six miles south of Cimarron, New Mexico. Meaning \"House of the Hawk,\" Casa del Gavilan features 12-foot high ceilings, vigas, 18-inch thick walls, and is a showplace of Pueblo-revival architecture exhibiting artwork and sculptures by Frederick Remington, Charles Russell, Robert Redbird, and others.
