Better than what we expected!
By BA Girl, 9/9/09
We only stayed here two nights and I thought it was super nice, especially for the money. The beds were comfy with extra pillows and the shower has a cool shower head that changes settings which is a nice extra. The rooms were very clean, but the bathroom looks like it could use some new paint.I couldn't hear my neighbors which was really nice. The rooms have a mini fridge and microwave so bring your own snacks and soda cause it's 1.50 for a bottle of soda in the vending machine. It's right next to the freeway which is super nice. Just a tip, if you've never been to Dallas I really recommend a GPS system because I don't think I could have found anything here without one. Mcdonalds is a few feet away from the parking lot and you can see Jack in the Box down the street, both in walking distance. All in all I would definately stay here again if I came back through. Also I reserved my room on Hotels.com the day I came and I saved about 15$ more than their normal prices.

Rip Off hotel
By Renscout, 6/17/09
1st off after paying in full on Hotels.com they required a CCard,I asked why they said in case of incidentals. Got to my room had an Email saying they charged $50 to my card.(BTW 5 -10 business days to clear after released from hotel) Now some of the money that we were going to spend shopping tied up on hold from Hotel. I did not give them permission to charge my card any amount. 2nd ordered Pizza from card in room(after driving 650 miles was too tired to go out)Made to look like outside company delivering to motel,Price $12.95 X 2 for combo pizza total charged to me was $38.74 $6.34 auto 20% Gratuity + $2 room service charge (not outside company Hotel room service)Then all it was was a frozen DiGiorno I could buy for $5 and local Store. 3rd web site, book in hotel and Hotels.com say they offer free cont breakfast. Was given 1 coupon per person on arrival(staying 2 days). Next day asked for coupon for 2nd days breakfast was told only 1 coupon per visit. 4th 5 Ice machines on 5 floors NONE WORKED bought my own at Convenience store. 5th 2 elevators on site only 1 worked 6 floor hotel w\197 rooms This was the worst stay I have had in any Hotel EVER. Mini Vacation w\wife was totally ruined by staff. My opinion is that once they seen that I got a cheaper rate from Hotels.com they were trying to get the money back in other ways.

Beware
By NDH, 4/11/08
This was the worst experience ever. From the minute I walked through the door so many red flags had gone up. The frontdesk had a dark and depressing looking. The only thing I can say positive about this hotel...the Staff was very friendly. The hotel smelled verrrrrrrry bad. It was like a mildew/mold smell. The carpet was stained and very soiled looking. When I got to the room, it had an even more powerful smell. Again, carpet smelled bad and looked as if it had been down for over 100 years. The mattress on the bed was ripped on both sides. The furniture in the room was old and worn looking. This hotel would not live up to your standards if you have any class about yourself. My hotel stay was initially reserved for 3 nights...I could not do it. I had to pay for another room my last two nights at a different hotel chain. To make a long story short, the Wyndham did not refund my money back for the two remaining nights because I booked throuh a travel agent. If you plan on booking with a travel agent...do your homework first, because these are restricted purchases that does not allow change. Paying for another hotel room was the best thing I could have done on this trip...I was finally able to lay my head down at night. Unfortunately I had to take a lost on the purchase of the room at the Wyndham. I'll know next time not to stay at a 3 star hotel, although I give this hotel 0 stars. I really hope this review help the next person who thinks about staying here. The hotel is in need of a renovation.

Poor Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/12/08
No hot water from the night I checked in until 11:30 am on departure day. According to front desk clerk, Front desk said they were aware and yet the serviceman was not called until the next morning. No internet all night until 9 am the next morning. Promised a discount due to the problems, however, printed out the receipt for original price and refused to change it. I'm really disappointed they call this a WYNDHAM.

I would stay again
By BROOKE, 7/10/07
The saying is true, "you get what you pay for". I had a coupon that offered 2 double beds for $49.99 a night. I thought it was well worth it. It was a little further from downtown then I would have liked, but for the price it was not bad. Service was okay except we had to ask 3 times to have our room cleaned. Other then that, I would stay again, but only with a coupon.

Never again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/5/07
The service was awful. The used trays with dirty dishes remain in the corridors for more than 8 hours. The complimentary shuttle to the Galleria Mall was only available on one occasion, and I was told that the driver was deployed to do other work. False Advertising definitely, because when I called to make reservations I was told that the shuttle was definitely available. The service is slow, and the rooms were not comfortable. With only 1 person at the front desk, the wait is interminable. I paid about $130 per night, and the stay was worth $50 per night.

Don't waste your time
By She-Ra, 5/11/05
When we got there they gave us a room on the sixth floor, and it was dirty and already occupied. We had just driven many hours to get there and didn't want the hassle of getting another room. They charge $9.99 for a small breakfast. We saved our money and went to a breakfast restaurant instead. They don't have full basic cable as advertised, only about four channels. We left a white shirt and burgundy shorts in the bathroom. When we came back the shirt was missing. We told the front desk, and they told us housekeeping was going to look for it. They never got back with us if they found it or not. When we left the manager told us that they were not responsible for a missing shirt. The price was cheap online, but when we got there the service was horrible. Do not go here.

Don't Stay Here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/28/05
I didn't have a good experience at this hotel. They gave me the key to a room that was already occupied and when I got to the second room it had dirty towels on the bathroom floor and was generally unclean. I also learned that the hotel had been shut down a couple of years back because of mold problems.
