Great Location to experience \"Old Quebec\"

The start of our holiday was not what we expected. Our luggage was lost when we arrived in Montreal. As we headed towards Quebec City we could only hope it would catch up with us. The staff @ the hotel were very reassuring and they would notify us as soon as our bags were delivered (The next day while we were out) & the porter set them up in our room.
The hotel is very quiet and interesting to tour. Each room has a "bit" of history, pottery, glass, antiques etc. displayed @ the door and in the room. It also has a cinema and well stocked bar in the lobby. Our room was a bit small for the $$ but the bed was HEAVENLY along with the bath with its heated floor and rain-head shower. I loved that the windows opened all the way to allow fresh air and a great view of the cobblestone street below.
We were in Quebec City during the "New France" festival (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) and only a couple blocks from all the events. The location in the Old Port is excellent. The helpful staff can assist you with day trip ideas, dinner reservations or local flavors. The St.Antoine is a great place for couples/romance and for a taste of this wonderful city. There are beautiful views @ night of the harbor and upper town from the roof garden area off the restaurant. We can't wait to return.
