not what I expected for a resort
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/04/09
rooms was small and since we had 2 double beds the stove top burners was five feet from our beds. you would think if they had a stove top burner they would have forks and spoons, plates, etc. A regular hotel room at least gives you coffee packets for 1 night. Shower sucks, the shower head was if they got it from the dump!!! bikes were old and hard to ride. We was up all night listening to the people above us jumping and running and slamming doors till 2:00a.m. that sucked big time. Need less to say since it was our 10 yr. anniversary it was not quite like we hoped it to be for the price. great if you have kids because somethings was free. But, I'm sure there is other resorts that better than this one.

Nice
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/26/08
This was a nice, quiet place to stay. The only complaint is that the extra bed was suppose to be a queen. We had 2 daughters (25 and 14) sharing. But it was a double. The sheets were for queen though so they didn't fit. The bikes are bad (old and flat tires) so don't expect to do much bike riding. But other than that, it was clean and quiet which is more than most places. We'll stay here again!

Not the weekend getaway place I had hoped for.
By Nate-dawg, 08/25/08
The location is OK if you plan on only going to Silver Dollar City. If Branson Landing or any of the shows in town is your attraction, then this is not the place to stay. If you want towels changed daily and your trash taken out, be prepared to wait on yourself. If you like swimming or sitting in the hot tub after dark, then this is not the place. The bathroom was very small, there was trash under the beds, pools and jacuzzis were shut down at 10pm. Marina and front desk staff were friendly for the most part. I had anticipated spending the mornings on a Kayak, but the Marina didn't open until 10am. Branson shows and attractions are usually closed by 10pm, unless you do the bar scene, so I had planned to swim and hot tub with the Mrs. after returning from an evening of dinner and a show with the family. Did not happen as the pools and hot tubs were closed at 10pm. This place seems like a good deal if you bring your own boat or jet ski, the rentals are a bit exhorbitant, and spend most of your time in Branson at this resort. If you plan on taking in a few shows and attractions, the amenities offered at this resort are useless.

We want to live here!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/18/07
My husband and I went for 5 days for our anniversary. We went to one show and to get our groceries one day, and loved the fact that we did not have to leave the rest of the time. The market had good food. It is just beautiful, very clean and friendly here! I loved the fridge with ice maker, washer/dryer, and the tub jacuzzi was actually big enough for two. We didn't catch any fish, but, we didn't care...the lake access is great! We hope to come back next year and bring our family. A couple of suggestions to the facility would be to please not get rid of smoking rooms and a covered, heated pool for the fall/winter would be really awesome! God bless and keep this place in your family! The Pettigrew's

Love Stillwaters!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/08/07
We have been coming to Stillwaters for over 16 years. Our kids loved it when they were little, and now that we're empty-nesters, we still love it. We bought a timeshare there and need a "fix" once a year at least. The new pool area is wonderful - they put in outdoor lounging/beds, and they are so relaxing. Some are in the shade and some are in the sun. The Bayside Market has great fast food and provisions as well. High-speed Wi-Fi in each room too!

WE WILL GO BACK!!! Great place to stay!!
By Marathonchick, 05/01/07
My husband and i went for a romantic get away!! And it was just what we needed!! We loved everything about this place. It is on the lake and you have access to free canoes, paddle boats, bikes and more. The pools are beautiful and fun! The location is private and quiet but just 5 min from the BRANSON you visit at night. We never saw staff unless we called for them and they were at our door immediatly. The location is PRIME!! It is on the same road as Silver Dollar City, just a mile or so away. The wild deer just graze by in front of the water just steps from your baclony. It is just breathtaking!! The staff is SOOO friendly and amazingly helpful!! The place is so clean I thought we were the first people to ever stat in it. We actually had a room mix up and they bent over backwards to make it up to us. (It may have not even been their fault) It was not a big problem at all but they wanted to be 100% sure we were not upset! PS If you stay 5 nights you get a free night!! And the rates are GREAT!!!! They are realy great people!! We had a 1br 1ba and it was bigger than any apartment I have ever lived in!! The space is almost too much. The balcony facing the lake was just wonderful especially for breakfast and dinner!! We had a washer and dryer in our room. Now that is convience!! We will be back and next time get 2br 2ba and bring the entire family.

going for 2nd time in 2 months
By Jacob & Kim, 04/27/07
We went for our anniversary last month and were going back again to go to Silver Dollar City. Stillwater resort is only a couple minutes from SDC and its to the south so there is no traffic. I will never stay at another place in Branson.

Noisy, Noisy, Noisy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/19/07
We enjoy going to Branson during the "Off" season for some peace and quiet. These rooms are not constructed well, you can hear every noise anyone above you or beside you makes - walking, showering, snoring, alarm clocks. We did not sleep well during our 3 night stay and were happy to return home for some rest. The rooms were new and beautiful, but I cannot imagine what the noise level must be during their peak times!

It was really good
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/29/06
We really enjoyed our stay at Stillwaters it was really buetiful and in a perfect location for Branson and Silver Dollar City. The Staff that we saw was friendly and I really like the little store had a good breakfast. The only thing I did not like is no maid service,at least in the hotel rooms.I thank they could go in and just wipe the tub out and empty trash, they do not have to make my bed and I could get my own towels like we did. I did not go on vacation to clean tubs and toliots and this I feel needs to be done daily. Trash should be picked up only if it is in waste basket. It was no problem to empty my own trash.
