Look somewhere else!!!!!!!
After spending several thousands of dollars to visit Ireland, I would NOT use Temple Bar Hotel or recommend it ever again. The location is great, but getting to stay there is another problem.
We made resevations three months in advance. One week prior to vacation we called all of our reservations we had, just to confrim, and Temple Bar Hotel (TBH) had nothing resevered in the computer for us even with a confirmation number. So we made resevations again.
After arriving to Dublin we called to get directions to the hotel and for parking. The staff gave us good information and said, "Your room is ready, and we are waiting for you." And they were waiting. We were asked to have a seat and wait for a manager, Jenny was the name of the manager. After waiting about an hour and watching people check in we were told that there had been a massive water leak and over half of there rooms were damaged. They had also made arangements for us at another hotel, the Holiday Inn. Also that cab fare to and from TBH would be paid.
Two and a half hours to three hours later we arrived at Holiday Inn. Too frind out we had been sent to the wrong hotel and no accomodations had been made for us. After another hour on the phone, about four hours later we were to be sent to the Comfort Inn.
Now about five hours later we had arrived at the Comfort Inn and was able to check in.
After wasting our time for the thousands of dollars spent our only day in Dublin was shot. We only got to visit Trinity College.
Later that night we went back to the TBH to see if we could get a room. Too our surpise they had rooms and was ready to check us into the TBH.
The next morning we arrived early to the TBH. Only to waste more time by being told they had double book was the reason we did not get a room there. Which is now about the fourth lie we had been told. And still all they could do was pay for our cab fares and parking.
My recommendation is not to go to Dublin or the TBH. Save you money or go to London, UK instead.
